The discourse is often dominated by the idea of Labour's magic money tree, how will they find all this money, they will bankrupt the country etc.
But..
The way we should be looking at it is.. Why does the UK state spend much lower, as proportion of its wealth, compared to other similar countries? Turns out Labour's spending plans would just make us a normal country again in terms of levels of spending.

Another way of looking at is what sort of country do you want in the future? An average European one with average levels of government spending, tax and state support. Or a US style one with low tax, low government support and huge differences between rich and poor.
