Interesting comment (not mine) in reply to an article by Greg Jericho link below.
Showing the frustration and outrage that people have for the defeat of sensible fair policy in the face of a loss to the coalition. I commented that the uk election ran along very similar lines with only the leader being seen the rest under wraps with an almost invisible policy agenda compared to labor’s which was massive. Morrison greatly reduced the government's sitting days to a bare minimum (Wilts picked up my forum comment and replied) Labor has still not recovered from the unlosable election.
This followed 2 earlier defeats and 6 years of the worst governments I have witnessed, probably even worse than May/Johnson.
Reader comment:
‘’Sorry Greg but what I don't get why you are bringing the Labor Party into this. They have advocated and implemented climate change policies which have then been rejected by the selfish (or ignorant) majority of voters.
Its a simple fact now that the Labor Party (or any progressive party) will not get into power by advocating sensible progressive policies.
What the Labor Party needs right now is a leader with absolutely no morals who will do and say anything to get into power (a Labor Tony Abbott) and then become a 21'st century version of Whitlam’’
