Does anyone have footage of Seny’s save against Peterborough.
Hope we sign him

Hope we sign him
THE single most important piece of transfer business we could do in January. I'm starting to think this lad is the best keeper I've ever seen play for us.

Ive seen a great save at the left hand end and it was probably at 2-0 (to the like of Donny) at the time.
Thought it was in the Sky highlights on here - will have a look

Might be on here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sHZ2lMyhGg

Why don't QPR want him? Who's that good in their net?
-
6'6'' Joe Lumley.

I would make him #1 priority signing. Head and shoulders above any of our keepers in recent seasons.

the save on quest highlights in 2nd half was at 3-0 in injury time.

100% yes he would be a fantastic signing and the goalkeepers position should never be underestimated.
They alone can win you 20 points a season.
If he cost us £500.000 it would be money well spent imo.
Think we would get him for £150.000 but what do i know? Other than i am pretty sure Gavin will have asked QPR the question about a permanent transfer.

World Class !

Best I could do with the save, not helped by Joe Wright getting in the way of the camera! :)

Amazing to think that less than two years ago he was turning out for Whitehall in Tier 8 of the League pyramid.
With a rate of improvement like that, I wouldn't be looking to sell him if I were in charge at QPR.
-
Certainly echo the comments above. Isn't it refreshing to see a goalkeeper revelling in his trade where catching a ball is a joy. Being mobile around his area showing his athleticism and agility. He's up there with Sully and Sam Johnstone although Karl Ikeme was decent too.
Might sound harsh but I'd be happy for Lawlor to be moved on to make way for Dieng if a deal can be struck with QPR.

Sshh BST don’t tell them how good he is. Keep stum. In fact he is rubbish really but we will take him of your hands for £50.000. Is that a deal?
Well start the bidding at 50 grand.

Stupid boy.

I defended Lawlor at the begining of the season. I still don't think he's a bad keeper or done anything wrong. But Dieng is clearly world's apart in his command of the area, which must give confidence to the defence.
He's too nonchalant on the ball however, and needs to improve there.
-
Dieng does what a keeper should do,please make him the first signing,I remember the Blackpool game when in the last minute there player headed a deep cross in from inside the six yard box and Lawlor was still stood on his line.unbelievably some one on here posted that he didn,t make a mistake because if he came off his line he may have fouled the Blackpool player,YOU COULD NOT MAKE IT UP,watch dieng come for the ball his decision making is v good.

At the time that save looked world class, top world class.
Dieng seems to have settled in well, grown more solid - has he bulked up a bit? No way can we afford him and anyway Palace will hang on to him for at least another season. We could hope at best to get another season's loan after this, but it's unusual for loanees not to be given experience at different clubs.

He’s on loan from QPR I believe

If you look at his history and the teams QPR have loaned him to, apart from his stint in the SPL they’re much lower teams than us. I think it’s realistic that we could get him for a small fee.
What do I know though, just guess work

They have a group of four senior keepers including Dieng. He is the only one loaned out. We might do the math and conclude he is not their top priority.
-
Possibly most importantly he's also the oldest. It could be he's ranked 3rd in that group of 4. He had a new 2 year contract this season. On balance, I suspect he's available for the right price. Wages could be the main sticking point?
