Has died suddenly. As well as being one of the Bonzos, he was the man behind the music of THE best Beatles parody band The Rutles. An immense musical talent has left the building.

Saw The Rutles at the City Varieties in Leeds about 4 yrs back. Great show, very much underrated. Time to put on my I saw The Rutles t shirt and take out my original 1978 vinyl and play again.

Played in a Dad's v Boys cricket match with Neil Innes and he took a stunning catch in the covers off my bowling.............to get my son out !!
That's about my only claim to fame !
