Title: Luke McCullough
Post by: Branton Rover on January 06, 2020, 09:16:31 pm
Signed none contract terms with Tranmere after recovering  from bad knee injury - I always thought he’d make a good holding/defensive midfielder but has had bad injuries. He wasn’t big enough to play centre back & not quick enough for fullback - he’s still only 25 so wish him well as hopefully he rebuilds career

Surprised to see he was still 25. The lad had a serious cruciate injuries twice in three seasons. Takes a lot of mental and physical strength to come back from that.

Don’t we pick ‘em!

In all seriousness, hope you can go on & enjoy your football career wherever it may take you & enjoy a few good memories along the way.

Thanks for wearing the red & white hoops.

Luke is a classic case of a good footballer only being one injury or bad tackle away from having to stop playing.
He is/was a very good player who had been selected for his country.
