Late on in the Oxford match, he got a ball out on the right wing and set off looking for a goal. He ended up getting pressurised by a defender and played a weak shot, losing possession.
Good to see him learn tonight. He got a ball in a similar position with 3-4 mins left and held it up. Played a pass with Halliday and won us a throw deep in their half. Wound the best part of a minute off the clock.
There's times for all out attack and times for game management. He made the wrong call against Oxford, but tonight he made a mature decision.
Little things, but good to see.

It is nice when you see young players learning and improving. His confidence must be growing as well being in around match day squads.
