Title: Billy Sharp
Post by: NickDRFC on January 21, 2020, 07:05:25 pm
Captains his boyhood team at home to the reigning champions. It doesn’t get much better than that. An indication he’s going nowhere, or the perfect way to sign off his time with them...

I think that will stop everyone dreaming of his return
Let’s hope he can really make a night of it and score

Maybe it’s wilder thinking the games lost and playing his fringe players
Or maybe he’s earned his place

I think they believe they will give any opposition a hard game

Chris Wilder is not a man to give out sentimental places in his team for league games in my opinion, nor is he someone to write off any game, Man City or otherwise. He was bitterly disappointed when they came away with nothing against Liverpool.

Sharp is in that team tonight on merit and I'd say it's a good sign he is staying there. Happy for him.

He was never, ever coming back to us in League One anyway.

Loved Wilders no nonsense comment about  the outstanding new contract offers to players
If I were them I'd get them signed. They know I won't hang about if someone needs replacing ...... or words to that effect
