Hurst gone from Scunthorpe. Hope it doesn't mean bad news for Lawlor but it can't be ideal when the manager who brings you in leaves two days later.
-
They might have someone lined up but maybe Butler in with shout as caretaker for next game or two?

Why would he leave his manager role at a bigger club? ;)

If I was them I’d go for Sol Campbell, surely wouldn’t take much convincing

i heard they walked out rather than been sacked.I suspect Scunny's financial position isn't that rosey tbh..

Always sad to hear of local rivals having a bad time.....
:woohoo:

If it's sacked, the timing is interesting - why not do it at the start of a transfer window instead of 2 days left? Mind you, with their funds, they probably wouldn't have enough money no matter how much window was left.

You'd be surprised. They've been spending money, very badly, for quite some time, maybe that's all come to a halt?

Hiring and firing hasn’t seemed to really work for them over the years.
Ridiculous sacking really. They were performing below expectations I know, but to give a manager 6 months to get things right is no time at all.
