The Killers to play at the Keepmoat Tuesday 26th May! Fantastic booking that.... About time they tried their hand at live music again at The Keepmoat!
If they can't sell out for the Killers than they never will!
-
Touring at Keepmoat, 26th May.
-
They’re only human.
-
You sure they're not dancer?
-
My sign is vital,my hands are cold...
-
Big name, Blossoms are excellent too.
Do we get priority tickets haha
Well done to the club for getting this one

Doesnt look like it as tickets are on sale from Ticketmaster and gigsandtours
-
Strange they don't go sale for 3 more days ,this date must have been added late as it say they kick off the tour on the 28th in falkirk ,but the keepmout gig is on the 26th
-
Not a fan of them at all but to have the last Glasto headliner at the KM is a big deal. Well done to everyone who made it happen.
Just hope they treat the hallowed turf with care!

Yeh new date added kicking the tour off at the Keepmoat
-
Mistake they (DMBC ?) made last time was not using proper promoters

Looks like the classic 'warm-up gig' for the main tour.
-
Pretty impressive, both have played on the Pyramid at Glasto the over the last few years and obviously the Killers headlined last year.
Not a big fan of Killers tbf but Blossoms are ace.
-
Anybody else buying in the pre-sale?
I have the info if you need it.
-
Jeepers! I've just seen how much tickets for the other gigs on the tour are. £43.50 is the cheapest ticket available. I think I'll just remember seeing them at the Leadmill in the mid 2000's!!

We've got a film screening around the same time. I'm guessing the pitch will be relaid after that.
I wouldn't be rushing to watch the gig, but if it makes money for Club Doncaster, I'm all in favour.

Hi yes pm sent.
-
Any clarity on the ticket prices, talk of £70+ for the pitch - too much for me and I go to a lot of gigs...

Yeh, go on then...

I'll have to watch them on ifollow :(

Supply and demand. Chance for us to make a huge profit here. Whack them prices up.

Not sure it works like that. I suspect the promoter will have agreed a rate for the stadium to host the event. They will then sell the tickets and keep the profits once the band/venue/staging etc have been paid

Thanks for this, tickets purchased

Thanks Martin, 4 tickets purchased! 👍🏼😁
-
Great scoop for the KM.
Must admit, I've never seen the attraction of The Killers, although I suppose they did at least have enough taste to pinch their name from the maestros.
-
How much are the tickets for this?
-
£71 for pitch standing
-
How much for seating??
-
Out of curiosity what is the capacity for these kind of events at the KM?
-
7 tickets bought, can’t wait. After seeing The Fillers 30+ times over the past 10 years, really looking forward to seeing the real thing....and at the Keepmoat. Great coup and can only be good for the town
-
Out of curiosity what is the capacity for these kind of events at the KM?
21,000
-
Are we expecting it to sell out?
-
I really don't know why people are getting so excited about them coming to the Keepmoat. I've seen them a few times and they're rubbish. They also attract a low-life following, resulting in every place they play at requiring fumigation.
Oh, hang on a minute.......Many apologies..........I thought the thread was about The Millers.

I thought it would have been more than that

You have to bear in mind the stage, back stage area, lighting/sound area etc which takes up quite a lot of space. They will then have safety requirements to meet as well so it is as straight forward as people think.
-
Will it be our usual caterers? Imagine nipping for a pint as they come on stage and just getting back in for the encore
-
How much for seating??
Same price mate
-
Ridiculous ticket prices.
-
The going rate now these days
-
Doesn't make it right though
-
Bands make very little money on records these days, so they charge more for gigging.
-
And people complain at the prices that festivals like IoW and Glastonbury charge where you can watch numerous bands for the price of 4 bands charging these prices
-
how much ?
-
IoW is about £180ish Glastonbury is about £280ish but Glastonbury is far far bigger than IoW
-
Anyone heard owt on this? Assuming as it was just a warm up gig to a large stadium tour it will now be cancelled, rather than rearranged?
-
I had tickets to see Massive in Sheffield two days before the Killers date and that’s off so I’d say it would also be cancelled
-
Me and our kid got tickets to see New Order at the O2 in London in October just before this bas**rd virus took off.
I doubt that will be going ahead.
-
Think it’s fair to say everyone’s social lives have gone tits up.
We’ve had so many things refunded we’ve opened a savings account and banging it all in there with the hope of being able to book a holiday later in the year....maybe optimistic mind...
-
It isn't just the gig that's the problem, how do they now fit it and football in if the season is extended and taking place?
-
Got tickets to see Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams at MSG in New York at end of July. Something tells me I won't be attending that in the forseeable future.

Is Bob Jovi a tribute group? 🤪
-
I was reight looking forred to this on Saturday. Seen them before. Wasn't over keen on Bob Neil but Dylan Young was brilliant. Hope it's reorganised at a later date.
-
The Doncaster gig wasn't a warm up, it was part of the main tour.
NME have said the tour will take place in 2021, and lists the effected gigs, and Doncaster was left out. Not sure if this is an oversight or if Doncaster isn't being rescheduled.
-
Have tickets to see Elton john in November, don't think it will happen to be honest but hope it does
-
We have/had tickets to see Romesh at Leeds - it looks like all other dates have been rearranged except Leeds 😢
-
We have tickets for Truck Festival late July very doubtfull
-
Got Glastonbury tickets for me and the boy (18 in August)
Least we keep the booking for next Yr and he'll be legit 18.
-
They need to stop messing around and just cancel this.
Even if it miraculously went ahead, the ticket sales would be dreadful

If you're referring to the Killers, see my post above. They are postponing the tour til next year however the Doncaster gig isnt referenced in the article, so it may well be cancelled. There's no way it's going ahead next month, either way.
-
Yes I know mate.
I'm just frustrated why they haven't cancelled it yet and issued refunds.
it's only next month not sure why they haven't.
-
Rovers/club Doncaster media sent dozens of mails out about buying tickets so you would have thought they could send one out about a cancellation.

If it is just postponed til next year, they won't automatically issue a refund. You'd have to sort that yourself.

New date, 21st May 2021
-
Says Tuesday 25th May 2021 on the official site
-
Sorry, 25th

I thought this was another Cult Hero thread for a minute :ermm:
