Tescos, good, occasionally busy later.
Sainsburys, moderate to good, sale on Corn Flakes.
Asda, slight to moderate, heavy crowds by evening.
Marks and Spencers and Co-Op, fair. Waitrose fair to moderate, quinoa in short supply, spillage in aisle 7.
Lidl, rough at first, moderate later.
And that's the end of the Shopping Forecast.
-
That was a load of Dogger Bank! :)
-
Yes a bit scilly I suppose but I had rockall else to do
-
Well, this is the Viking Chat Forum...

I’ll get my cape, I obviously know Rockall about the shipping areas. 😉🚢

.... hey no repeats either !
You only get a SOLE go, so go Forth and think of another before someone in their Forties takes Humber-age
-
Plagiarism is alive and well in Bradford.
I should have known that I'd be caught out in the age of the Fastnet. That's me done. I'm off to the gym for my last session before lock down.☹️🏋
-
Good luck with that and to be Fair, Isle stop now was well
(Also Finisterre was removed in 2002 so you did not imagine it)
-
That’s enough north wits here.!

That's good news John. At my age fact and fiction do sometimes get mixed up. Mind you even I couldn't imagine some people's reaction on some supermarket aisles this week.
-
there aren't any "Germans" on here to "bite" on the thread

Finisterre changed name to Fitzroy.

Just had my final four pints of cask ale for the forseeable future. After my third pint they dropped the price from £3.10 to £2.50 a pint.
Boy I'm glad to have talked the wife into going out for a quick pint.
My gym is now closed as well. Keeping fit is suddenly going to be hard for a 71 year old.☹️

I’ve always seen you as pretty level headed idler, I’m surprised you’ve been out to the pub tonight. I’ve no doubt a lot of people have but it really isn’t something I’d expect anyone with any sense to do.
-
There is every chance that my local might never re-open. It was only ever to make sure we were there tonight if it never did. There was only one person within two metres of us the whole time that we were seated. We are not seeing family now for however long. I am unlikely to infect anyone as I'm not going to see anyone but my wife. The pub had various people in that were laid off or redundant etc. Isn't life great. See you next season Nick, hopefully.
-
Hopefully with the wage announcements today, the pub will survive and those folks who have been said off would be looked after.?
But I can understand the “last chance” pub visit, almost went myself..
Next panic buying in supermarkets will be ale.
-
Already seen panic alcohol buying tonight mate.
I popped into a Lidl store in Thorne to get half a dozen bottles of beer.
The bloke in front of me had a trolley packed with wine and beers.
The checkout lady asked if he was having a party and he told her about the pub etc closures.
She wasn’t aware of the announcement but then said it was a good job he had got them tonight because tomorrow there would more than likely be a limit on how much alcohol people could buy.
-
Not much fun in drinking at home unless friends or relatives are there which sort of defeats the reason of closing pubs.
-
I dont drink much at all these days idler, but sometimes it is nice to have a beer or an odd glass of wine, even at home relaxing.
-
I do have the occasional one hound but my stocks and appetite are dwindling as I get older.
-
I'm not so bothered about going out these days. I prefer whiskey to beer but won't pay for it in a pub all night, not just because of the price of it but because I'd be getting up for a refill too frequently.
I tend to stop in these days and watch telly or go on the internet, spending far too much of my time talking to you lot on here. If I do feel the need for a more stimulating and intelligent conversation I talk to myself for a while.
-
I hope that you always agree with yourself BB. I’ve got a picture of scenes from the Lord of the rings trilogy in my head now.😳

Do you apply the same principle to having good sex BB.?
-
Yes mate, I perfected the art of it by practising, alone.
-
Yes I heard you were so good at it, you only need to use one hand and are already lighting up your post self-coitus fag 5 minutes after starting..
-
5 minutes? I only do it the once these days.

I'm thinking more The Hobbit, Gollum!
-
Sorry Raven, that is the one that I meant. I didn't realise which film it was in.
BB could maybe change his avatar.
-
Oy! isn't the Hobbit that ugly, jug-eared, ferret faced, know it all t**t?
Oh yes, I see where you're coming from.
