Title: Newcastle takeover......

.....Amanda Staveley who looks to be the brooker in this new takeover has a Doncaster connection,her mother’s family were from Bruntwood Grange Sprotborough . Her mother seems to have been a very good show jumper, whilst Amanda herself used to go out with Prince Andrew, after she had left school

Also her grandfather was Ralph Raper who owned Doncaster greyhound stadium and a string of betting shops .

The Rapers used to own the big house on the back road between Sprotborough and Cusworth. Helipad, tennis courts and the like. I think Lynn Raper was a showjumper for the British Olympic team in the 60's.

not quite right  "Bint & Raper"  & a short string ? of ...

on that photo of "James Frederick Bint in 1971" as he presumably meets lesser royalty ?  (Queen Mother ?who loved a bet !!) it looks like someone has given him a black eye   :suicide:

John Raper her Brother still lives in Sprotbrough he owns Britain's Gin amongst other businesses.
