Post by: roverstillidie91 on May 09, 2020, 10:28:20 am
Sorry if already been posted... states you can pause skysports until football resumes and still access channels.

Did cover it a bit back -  4 pages back

https://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=276526.0

I got my full money refunded as I had bought a 10 month F1 Pass (NOW TV) and I have limited sports to go at but as there isnt much live I am not bothered and will reconnect when everything is back

At the risk of getting slated again, it’s still nigh on impossible to cancel BT Sports

I had written off BT Sports as an "I cant be bothered" excerxise but maybe you are right to want to cancel

After all there is nothing on and it costs me (probably) 5 or 6 quid a month. I yhink I could stop it  fairly easily via Plusney so - I may give it a go later

Cheers JT

I did it, through the website

I have requested a "stop" to BT Live sports until - err - well when Live sport returns

Plusnet seem to be suspending peoples BT App (if they ask) and giving a refund for 2 Months so I have done that

Roversdude - I found this in the general discussion - dont know if any good https://www.bt.com/sport-support-options/?s_cid=con_FURL_sport_support

who's gonna slate you, that's your opinion, rightly or wrongly...

When you say cancel, you mean you want to leave a fixed term contract you've signed up for.. well that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

But, a quick visit to the bt sport website allows you to receive a monthly credit to the amount of your payment whilst all sports are off. Or you can donate the amount to the NHS! So you wont lose a penny,  or can actually do some good,

If this is deemed nigh on impossible, im afraid im out of any more ideas?

 you are welcome..

Wasn’t exactly advertised unlike Sky but that’s £30 a month better, goes some way to make up for wife’s furlough

...and thanks for inspiring me Roversdude

I requested BT Sport App suspension yesterday after realising I was paying for nowt and got a refund via my net bill and what I think is a credit each month that passes without "live sport"

Did this a while back. Online too, i thought it would be a phone call and a lengthy wait. You actually still get the content too! Strangely generous from Sky, must be some ulterior motive!
