Title: Sunderland

So the fella who bought the club did so with the parachute payments, plus his own loose change;

Now the club is for sale again, will the parachute money be repaid in the deal?
What's your guess?

Only I suppose like buying a rental property and using future rent to pay the mortgage?

Just leaves nothing in the pot for renovations tho?

We've covered this before. It's one of the reasons Su derland fans thought he was all mouth and no trousers.

The financial expert, Kieran Maguire has covered it and the reason why he wants to sell the club for at least £37m is so he can repay the £20m and make a tidy profit but basically he and interested parties say he has no chance of recouping that money.

In addition, I think this, along with using stadiums to finance overspending will be outlawed in the review of FFP.
