Unfortunately a 12 day old baby has been killed by a dog in Woodlands.
As the full story isn’t known all I will say is please take care of kids/grandkids around any dog

Horrific news RIP little man.

Always the same old story. "She wouldn't hurt a fly, she's always been brilliant with kids".
Yeah right. Dogs are canine creatures, and intensely jealous when children get more attention than them.
Anyone who leaves a child alone with a dog seriously needs certifying.

The mistake they possibly made was that they didn't introduce the baby to the dog the first minute they got home.
Do this and make a massive fuss of the dog whilst it's having a good sniff of baby will give dog and baby a strong bond. Baby becomes part of the dogs pack.
tragic accident, RIP liitle man.

Tragic, yes. Accident, no. It was gross negligence, and that should be reflected in the punishment they receive, but I doubt it will be.
