Title: Poor quality of new away strip
Post by: colincramb on November 28, 2020, 10:41:06 am
Anybody else had issues with the new black away top? Pulled mine out of the wash this morning and noticed on one of the black stripes it had bobbled up and discoloured. Washed on its own on an ultra low wash as well.

Wouldn’t mind but its only a few months old. Not what you’d expect from a £40 shirt. Anybody else had similar problems? Will be returning to club shop when open again, but obviously bought online so not sure what they’ll do?

Have to say, went to the frenchgate shop with the intent of buying but the quality of both home and away shirts looked really poor. The badge in particular. Bought the poppy shirt instead.

I tried one on and I don't know if it's the design but It looked like it had a built-in wok on the front.

Those that have bought one can you confirm that the sizes are accurate?
I have two teenage grandchildren that want one after losing their dad this week.
Being exiles I can't just nip in and check the sizes and I don't want them getting shirts with names on that don't fit.

Hi Idler,
Sorry to read that you have had a loss in the family, I ordered one last week and have found it to be quite accurate, if anything quite generous. Hope your family is ok

I'm 6'1" and 16 and a half stone and an XL fits fine, Idler. Snug but fine.

Thanks lads. I ordered two XL and a med. Two are taller than me and all want to wear them at the funeral as their dad will be in his for his service.
It’s a shame that there will only be 15 inside and 15 outside. There have been so many tributes to him here in Bradford to DonnyDave as most knew him.
