Just watching Barnsley v Bournemuff, ref in charge Keith Stroud, guess where he was born, Bournemuff. Surely that might be considered a conflict of interest!
Herbie having a quiet game.

Thought he was from Gloucestershire. Probably just lives there.
If he has links to Bournemouth he then surely should not be refereeing their matches.

Just googled him. From Bournemouth but is a Luton Town supporter.

Probably the best ref I've seen whose officiated our games this season , thought he was superb to be honest .
Let it go when he needed to and pulled it back when it broke down .
All the yellow cards were justifiable including the ones he picked up upon when the Sky cameras didn't spot it .
No complaints from me including the result .

I agree tyke, he had an excellent game.

Bournemouth should be good enough to go back up again. They have become a remarkable story really.
Who would have thought Bournemouth would be the club they are now when SOD was their manager 14 1/2 years ago. In fact also when they were runners up to us in 2012/13 only 7 1/2 years ago.
Just shows what can be achieved at a relatively small club.

Well, yeah, but don’t forget the billionaire owner and the breaking of fair play rules to get into the PL.

Exactly hound, little old Bournemouth who made their way up with pluck, grit, determination and a sprinkling of cheating and petrochemical billions.
-
Yeh and I bet their supporters really hate this and wish they were a well run club in league 1
-
Bournemouth were bloody ruthless in the finishing department and the way they managed the game .
There's little point moaning about the finances in the Championship because it is what it is and you simply have to get on with it .
To be fair to us we created some good opportunities ourselves but that second goal right on half time killed us and it was a bad goal to give away I have to say .
The bigger game in my opinion this week was always the Wycombe home game on Wednesday night and three points which is what we really should be looking for gives us 22 and nicely away from the bottom three .
As Clint Eastwood said in Dirty Harry " sometimes a man just has to accept his limitations " .
That's the Championship of today for the likes of ourselves .

Great memory, Tyke, remembering such a dull line as that from a film with one of the best one-liners (well, five-liners actually) of all time

Did you see that in the first half when the ball went about 2 yards out of play for a Barnsley goal-kick and the linesman was not even up with play, didn't flag at all, and it was the referee who gave the goal-kick?!
Good the referee spotted it and he rightly got praise from the commentators - doesn't look good on 'Championship quality' linesmen, though!

But if we had done what Bournemouth have, how many Rovers fans would be complaining?
Not saying it is right but let’s face it they are not the only club to have broken the rules.
Dozens have.
