Title: Bradford City
Post by: Campsall rover on December 05, 2020, 06:48:24 pm
Amazed Stuart McCall hasn’t been sacked yet.
Favourites to go up and are 2nd to bottom. What on earth has gone wrong at that Club?

Seriously?  Well I am all in favour of Managers being given time but McCall must be on borrowed time as he has been on this third spell a quite a while.  Feb this year.
Yes maybe he deserves longer but if they do not get out of danger by The New Year i think he will be gone.
No way will they want to risk the club getting relegated to the National League.

If they do get relegated there is a chance that they could be playing Bradford Park Avenue the following season.  :ohmy: Now, I wonder how years ago since they played each other in a major competition?

My guess would be 50 yrs in 1969/70 season without checking it.

No wrong 69/70  City were in 3rd Div.   PA last season in Div4 and were not re elected.

City finished 4th in Div 4 in 68/69 and played Park Avenue that season for the last time.

So 51 years. Do not  think they have met in the FA cup since then.

Park Avenue are mid-table in Conference North, so not favourites to go up as we stand.

40 years since the demolition of Park Avenue, my favourite away ground;

Some great photos of the old ground on the twitter feed of the club historian Tim Clapham;

Scroll down for a nostalgia fest!

They are dreadful. Last 7 games, lost 6, drawn 1.
