Deserves his own thread.
Cheers.

Awesome!
-
Brick wall!!!
-
Transfer window's open, nothing to see here!
-
Absolutely shocking you call the defending don't waste you time scouting him
-
Also, best off making sure Joe doesn't bring Brereton back on the coach with him.
Outstanding today. All of them. Harvey Elliot with a death wish as well the odious little prick.
-
Great defensively.
What a double save from the new keeper as well.
-
My favourite Anderson after Pamela and Jimmy
-
Anderson was so good, even the Blackburn commentator mentioned it. That might have been the only time he actually acknowledged that there were two sides on the pitch.

Thought that also. Butler is literally old enough to be his father. What a clown.

Knew he was going to be up for it today with him being a Burnley boy.

Weird group of players. Elliott, Dack and Armstrong all have that look of the total w**ker we have all played against in sunday league. Glad we beat them.
-
Perfect direction on that header for the crossbar challenge

Got sick of hearing about Armstrong on the FA Player commentary. Did f**k all. As did Dack.
Next.

He was outstanding again.

Defended superbly as a whole team totally professional performance, resolute , disciplined and cynical when we needed to be with John getting a yellow. Keeper a bit nervy on his debut but a couple of smart stops, Anderson , Butler rock solid. Wright won every dual, John composed against a tricky winger. Halliday great energy and tenacious, James looks like he's played in midfield for years , does the basics so well. Richards, nothing would go right for him first half despite his effort but made amends with a great strike and a bit of luck with poor keeping. Fej superb on the wing did a job for us and showed good strength at times. Simoes grew into the game and showed glimpses off class. John Jules unlucky in 1st half with a good run and decent save from keeper, worked hard as a lone striker.

Dare I say it, that back four of Wright, Anderson, Butler and John has the solidity of Quinn, McConbe, Jones and Spurr?
Good (finally) to get a clean sheet!

I half wanted Butts to give him a clip, little arse.

Bradley Cack

Tom was immense today, & I would imagine Mowbray was impressed. Easily the best centre half in our league.
-

Yes BST, but at least he did give us a mention, unlike that odious pr*ck, Gary Lineker, who scrolled through all the cup results, acknowledging practically every winning team but us.
Typical of that w*nker.

Still prefer Halliday at right back. Yes Joe Wright did not do anything wrong but it is not his natural position.
-
Keeps joe in the side though
Wright, Anderson and Butler have been our best players recently
-
I do always wince every time i see so many defenders playing out of position before the game (even John isn't a left back imo) but we seem to win every time with a selection like this so thats credit to them all and DM. Only minor complaint is i'd like to be more deadly from set plays when we have 4 centre halves on the pitch

Halliday was my MOTM today - great engine, tenacity and good awareness - I personally wouldn't object to seeing him in there again...

Big Tom loves it and these big games

Had to laugh at that.
He just bounced off Andy.

The trouble with having to play 4 centre backs is - if one gets sent off or injured, then we’ve limited our options again.
Get our midfield players back in next week and there’s no reason we can’t go on another run.
What is Butler’s contract position now - is he out of contract soon?
-
Anderson is the keystone in a good defensive wall, man of the match for me.
-
Nice to hear MOTD being complimentary about us last night.

That's because Mark Lawrenson wasn't on it.

SS.
I'm sure he did it just because Donny voted Leave.
-
Anderson and Whiteman are key to this team I really hope we don't let any key players leave in this window as it would be a catastrophe
-
The audacity to head against your own crossbar as a clearance the mans an animal

You b*gger. You've got me weighed up.

It’s probably worth reminding everyone that big Tom is out of contract in the summer!
Correction: It appears he’s contracted to 2022.
-
Get him sorted quick. Does he live in Doncaster?
-
He signed a new deal a year ago so is under contract for another 18 months yet.

Thanks for info good news
