He's talking about mental health, great subject.
Only problem, they've gone and invited Paul Warne to talk too.
The classless cretin. Never forget him celebrating on the pitch with champagne, after being literally gifted promotion, and during a global Pandemic.
Kitson

Probably alone in my opinion here but I don't actually mind Paul Warne.
-
I think I remember Paul Warne talking once about mental health issues, maybe when he was out for an extended period with a bad injury. I think he had to stop playing at one point and got a payout from the PFA but subsequently fought back to fitness.
-
I’m with Monkcaster on this one. Top bloke, honest. funny and comes over as an excellent human being. Yes he’s manager of Rovrum but he’s still a good man.
-
Copps was on Talk Sport 2 the other morning for about 15 minutes talking about his own experiences especially as a young player living away from home in Exeter.
Also the mental side of it in the game and how he hopes to start a programme up to help young players who are released at the academy stage and what options they have in front of them.

Just thinking, he was gifted promotion, after the season being finished early due to a global Pandemic.
with people dieing in hospital round the corner.
which was literally the reason why the season finished early, and the very reason he was gifted promotion.
But yet they decided to celebrate on the pitch with champagne for a photo opportunity.
If that happened to Rovers, I know Darren and the club would have more class than that.
Embarrassing for Warne and Rotherham.
-
It wouldn't surprise me if Copps and SO'D started working together on the 'mental coaching' side of things when Copps hangs up his boots.
There seemed a lot of mutual respect on the recent pod-cast.

Agreed, seems a very decent bloke, one of the few around right now... I don't think he would be a manager if it wasn't at Rotherham

Really enjoying this show.
Mental health is massive, and I feel we have only scratched the surface of talking about it.
Huge issue, suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45.
It's shocking.
Always talk guys and always be there for your pals.

I have no problem with Warne celebrating last season’s promotion let’s be honest if Rovers had been promoted so would we. He comes across as a genuine and passionate man, I might not like Rotherham but they have a good manager who loves the club.
-
He came across very well tonight.
Great to hear a manager and player speak about mental health.
I hope they do more of these specials.

At over 4 years, Warne is one of the longest serving Managers in the country and it is good to see that Rotherham stick by him despite their ups and downs. He comes across as a decent bloke and of course he does live in Doncaster.

Obviously that’s the reason
-
I thought Paul Warne lived in Tickhill
-
I'd class Tickhill as in Doncaster. I'm from Rossington but say I live in Doncaster.
-
I thought Paul Warne lived in Tickhill
Tickhill is in Doncaster
-
and Copps did say at one point "definitely his last season"
-
Despite being a Rotherham manager Paul Warne always talks really well about mental health, and we all know that Copps does
-
For those that missed it, it's now in BBC Sounds.
