Like an absolute fairy with his back to goal, couldn't trap a bag of cement. Playing off the shoulder of the last defender absolutely deadly, quality finish.
-
Hopefully Bogle can take this role off him because Fej ain't the guy for playing with his back to goal.
-
But facing goal he’s different player, when he scored goals at Shrewsbury he was not the player up front played wide left.
-
Puts his chances away though when they come along.
Great finish today.
-
Thought he did ok 2nd half.
Needs to stand his ground more and not allow himself to be bullied which he was 1st half.
-
If Bogle hits his stride, him up top and Fej off the left flank sounds good to me. He scored a great goal off the shoulder of the full back at Swindon from that position.
-
He's been given a fool's errand in absence of John Jules, but if you are the one up, it is not really about goals. Ball goes up to him as the focal point and he loses possession, then we are immediately under pressure. If we can get Bogle to have the ball stick to him, that helps us attack but also keep possession. At present 9/10 balls go up to Fej and we are immediately on the defensive. He is a good finisher and much better if we can shift him out of that role.
-
He's doing a great job knowing there's nobody else to back him up. I'll forgive him for not holding the ball up better at times but he has to pace himself through games and, he's now scoring. Took his goal today very well again.
-
Wow. Just imagine if we lost.

Yeah i was thinking that. Could be a Kane/Son combination with Bogle freeing up space for Fej to get in on goal where he's deadly
-
We have to his strengths, he is clearly has it! great finish under pressure. He has done well to do a job for the team when up front on his own, but it is clearly never going to be his game.
-
It's unreal that we don't have a single player in the top 10 goalscorers in League One and only one player in the top 20 goalscorers (Fej on 8 goals). Teams just don't know where our goal threat is going to come from.
-
Looking ruthless when he gets a chance now

Surely it's got to be Sims on the left when he's fit. Nobody in our squad can rip defences apart like him.

Yeah we've a lot of options when everyone is fit could play Sims on the right but then Taylor would miss out. One thing is clear though we will try to play the same shape whoever is available so i'm not sure we'll ever see Fej and Bogle as a central front 2
-
Sims on the right I reckon
-
Fej isn't suited to that hold up play but he works his socks off trying to do it AND be on the end of the intricate passing moves. Top fella, deserves a bit more credit than he gets.
-
That was a superb finish today!

Most of his finishes are tbf
