Murray Walker the voice of formula one has died at 97. Have watched F1 since the 70's, his voice accompanying the greatest moments.

F1 and various other motor sport and he deffo invented the curse of commentator !
I remember Minis Escorts racing round a short track - with one miles in front MW said "and he just has to negotiate Manns Bank " Then the Car went up the Bank and rolled for about 200 yards with doors flying open and getting wrecked by the second ..... and Murray shouted in mid incident "which HE DOESNT"
