Title: Question from recent history
Post by: DRNaith on March 15, 2021, 11:28:20 pm
While watching the Wolves, Liverpool game tonight, while Wolves' keeper was down injured, I commented to my lad that I remembered when, for whatever reason, we ended up with Paul Green having to go in goal for us.

After a few moments though, I was doubting myself. Did it happen or have I dreamt it?

Seem to remember Cramb saved a penalty. Would suggest he may be the only player in our history to score a hat trick and save a penalty whist with us

I'm pretty sure Paul Green did end up in goal for us one time. Can't remember when or where though. Dutch or TRB will know.

It was in the Conference, Ldr. Southall should never have started; he was limping from the start, and cost us the game before he went off.

Wasn’t it Richard O Kelly that collided with Paul Malcolm

Wasn’t it Richard O Kelly that collided with Paul Malcolm

The incident ended both their playing careers.
