Controlled aggression is good, with training and a bit more experience he will know when and where to calm it, and when to open up. Good news.

I can't see why we aren't waiting a couple of weeks until the next manager is in place. We're spending his budget on players he might not want......

I can't see why not, we need a small squad of players for a new manager to build from, we will need 8-10 new players as it is so that's a big enough task as it is and a new manager will be able to put their stamp on the team for sure.
Footballers are only human also, they have families, bills etc and won't wait forever. I don't think anybody would argue against JT or Greaves being in the squad next season.

I'm pretty sure SM said there would be a role for AB regardless and this of course would have to be negotiated like everything else.
