Anybody else getting an error message when trying to pay for season ticket online via the instalment option? Tried several times and keep getting ‘basket balance is not equals to zero’
Any ideas??
-
Call the ticket office they sorted out my season ticket in minutes
-
I called the ticket office sorted in minutes.
-
Phone. Club are always very helpful with anything you ring about.
-
I e mailed Tracey yesterday as I had a problem renewing all resolved today. Excellent yet again from Tracey
-
The dealings I’ve had with staff in the ticket office I can’t praise them highly enough absolutely bang on
-
Just back to the OP - yes I have had problems trying to renew online - get to the point of putting the card details in and then get the error message - and no, I am not putting my card details in wrongly.
So will either phone up to renew, or even use old fashioned post.
I have never liked the website - really hard to navigate, in my experience/opinion.
Martin are you listening.
-
The website is terrible.
-
It's a lot better than it used to be, chaps.
I also noticed going forward that you'll be able to buy ambulant disabled and carer tickets online, which will save me going down to the TO.
-
Is the ticket office open for walk in customers
-
I believe it's open from the 21st.
-
From next Monday I believe
-
I had problems with the website as it would not take my bank card but a phone call to the ticket office sorted it in 2 minutes so l have renewed my season ticket and looking forward to an exciting season
-
Just to update, the website is still not working. I appreciate you can pay by phone or now in person, however the club is losing money by having a site that’s not able to sell their biggest product!! It’s lunacy really.
-
Done mine this morning over the phone 5 mins very easy £335 bargain
-
Three ST renewals done over the phone with Louise & Tracy….Thank you ladies. Right let’s get them fixtures out. RTID
-
So easy to do over the phone. Ticket Office staff are very helpful. :scarf:
-
I'm waiting for a an authorised transaction to disappear from my bank account before calling into the office. Pointless having a website if you can't use the bloody thing.
-
No problems with website, lots have renewed. If you have a problem speak to Tracey she will sort it for you

Despite having the option to pay via a payment plan on the website , you can't actually do it. That's what Tracey has said. Seems silly to me. Like I said, I'll sort a my season tickets over the phone at some point.
-
Just to let everyone know season tickets are going reasonably well.
Its one of few revenue streams at the moment so that's doubly pleasing.
-
I did mine over the phone. Quick and easy.
-
Did mine over the phone Suzanne was as always brilliant

Just seen a tweet saying there's a 3k limit on sales is this true? 1500 sold already
-
I would imagine that we want to sell as many as possible. If we sell more than we can allow in ask for volunteers to miss games or draw lots.
I'm an exile so probably won't be at every game anyway.
-

The tweet is from Shaun Lockwood so it's absolutely true. Although I had no idea about this.
I can't renew until next week so if I/we miss out because of that I'll not be best pleased. Especially after all the money we have sunk into the club over the past two seasons.
-
Might just be a ruse to hurry people into buying ASAP.
I am waiting a bit to see what issues might be coming along.
-
250 new ST holders already as well out of that 1500. There's going to be a lot of upset fans. I imagine after July 19th and release from lockdown the limit won't exist
-
I'm sure SM mentioned the cap on here a few weeks ago. I can't think where else I would have heard it.

If restrictions lifted so will cap according to Shaun
-

I did mention it.
So for the time being, that is until the government confirm anything different, there will be a cap on st sales.
But the plan, and advice, from everybody connected is that next season will be a normal season.
-
I think that will be the next influx of sales now. 19th July.
-
I had the same problem trying to purchase via the website. It is to do with certain IP addresses. Office sorted straight away though.
Wonder how many we have sold now?
-
I do find the website difficult to use for purchases.
Once I managed to find the renewal option, it took me a couple of failed attempts before it would accept my payment, which is not the first time I've had that problem.
I've learned through experience just to persevere and keep trying, but it is frustrating.
-
I would have been happy to renew via the site but when I renew for me and my dad it only applies the "5-year thank you" discount to one of the memberships, not both. Looks like I'll have to call the TO later.

It’s painless - the website had not subtracted the discount for being an Alliance member but all sorted in a couple of minutes over the phone. The staff in the TO are brilliant

the bad shopper ip address ?. Turned out I had a problem with bank.

Just renewed 3 at the ticket office. Tracey says it’s been manic and that the 3000 limit is close to being reached. There were 6 people waiting behind me. To be on the safe side I would suggest anyone intending to renew who hasn’t yet done so should get sorted ASAP. If restrictions aren’t lifted there will be a lot of unhappy supporters.

Great news, we renewed all of ours online last night too, fingers crossed for next year.
-
Rang this morning and renewed mine in less than 5 minutes

That is brilliant news!
Well, not the potential unhappy supporters bit, obviously.
Never mind the vaccination roll-out, I think Richie has given us all a shot in the arm!
-
I got a buzz just going in and out of the ticket office. Really can’t wait to get back into the ground.
-
Both credit cards and a debit card rejected online just now. Rang ticket office but put through to EE voicemail. I'll try again later when I get a minute.

Now sorted by ticket office in less than a minute! Looking forward to the first game alrready!

Didn’t SM say that if “freedom day” happens on 19th July then there wouldn’t be a limit on ST sales.
-
I appreciate the TO can sort over the phone, but I really don't think they should have the spread payment option on the website when it doesn't work.

Can’t disagree with this. If it isn’t fixable the least the club should do it put out some comms to advise it doesn’t work but IS still an option over the phone.

To be fair, I can understand why some people might be hanging back from renewing just yet.
-
So can I Hound. I posted just to let fellow fans know the current situation. I don’t want to miss out, so bought knowing the risk. No different to last season in that respect.
-

I did. Currently all stadiums are still under restriction so the club will be selling up to that safe limit and no more.
So, after July 19th the restrictions will be lifted and ST's will go back on sale.

Cheers Martin, I remembered correctly then.

Purchased over the phone as others have said, very easy and helpful. Glad the sales are going well and hopefully as restrictions get lifted further we can sell a good number and really get behind the lads this season. I for one will never take a Saturday match day for granted again once we are all back to normal.
-
How many did we sell the last season pre Covid?
-
Yeah cheers guys, I ended up calling the TO and got it sorted. Spoke to a lady called Suzanne(?) I think. Really friendly and helpful.
-

the bad shopper ip address ?. Turned out I had a problem with bank.
Tried to renew online just now - tried four times (with two different cards). Got the following error:
'Error
Payment process was not completed. Click here to try again
Error occurred trying to collect payment. code:BAD_REQUEST - Invalid Shopper Ip Address'
Obviously can't ring up at 9.30pm! Now, I don't know if the bank has taken the money or not (four times)!
-
I got the same message, tried it again with the same card and it worked. Rang the ticket office to make sure I hadn't bought two accidentally and they quickly clarified all the details and that it had only gone through once. So I presume if you get that error message, it doesn't charge you.
-
On a slightly different note will the 10 game tickets be on sale?
I am working in Plymouth and will get to a game when I can.
I am looking forward to this season the most I have for a long time. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :rtid: :rtid: :rtid:
-

I got round this by adding a new card to my list of cards on the website. It then let me pay using one of those cards.

They will go on sale at a later date when it's clear of the roadmap.
-
Renewed mine this week 64th concecutive year along with my daughters and 2 grandkids. Bring it on
-
That sounds like yer grandkids have been season ticket holders for 64 years as well, cracking stuff. DB.
-
Just renewed over the phone.
Was told that the 'Bad IP address' error on the website is affecting quite a few people, and is being investigated by the club's/website credit card provider.
-
When family member did it loads of times it led to bank saying they need to speak to them. Things are easier on the phone.
-
Can't praise Tracey and ticket office staff enough!
Always treat you like a person and not a number and go out of their way to help. They're a credit to the club.
-
Anyone know if we have sold 3000 season tickets yet? If not i plan on buying two tomorrow
