Had a look on our website and harrogates and can’t find any details regarding the tickets for this game.
Does anyone know where I can find them or if you can tell me how much they are and whether we need to buy beforehand or can pay on the day.
I notice they changed their game today to behind closed doors at the last minute v Sunderland
-
There last two games have had no fans there. They played Sunderland today with no one there I was watching it on tv today

Yes mate,
It was a last minute decision and was only announced last night.
-
I was hoping to go to the Harrogate match but it seems to have disappeared from the fixtures
-
Already played them on 1st July according to both club websites
Rovers won 5-1
So presume no game now in 1st August as it is not on either clubs website.
-
Harrogate's game yesterday was behind closed doors due SAG recommendations our fixture appears to have been removed or we’ve already played them on the 1st July?
-
Just checked - still on our website for next Sunday

If you look at fixtures it’s not there last game Sheffield United then next first league game.

As in Harrogate's website?
Yes still there
-
I have taken a pic but don’t seem to be able to add it here from my phone. I looked at the rovers website this morning clicked on matches and it is listed after the sheff utd game

Yes checked our website and Harrogate's and the match is there whether supporters are allowed to go not sure.
-
RW mentions the upcoming Harrogate game in his post match interview too, so it's definitely still going ahead.
-
Looks as though it is on but no tickets on sale on Harrogate website.
Just live streaming.
Maybe it’s behind closed doors as i think their games with Rotherham and Sunderland both were.
-
It’ll be a shame if there’s no crowd, I only live 15 mins from the ground
-
I was hoping to go to tick a new ground off
-
I was going to go. What was the reason given for having no fans in their last game? Staffing issues?
-

Same. I’m looking forward to it
-

About 25 minutes with a fair wind

I'm 10 minutes away, but parking's a pain so it's a brisk 30 minute walk
-
There last 2 games have been streamed live
-
15 minutes away for me too. My guess is North Yorkshire police have little experience of policing large away followings and couldn't borrow enough from West Yorkshire.

Only around 1000 away fans at Wetherby Road.
Think the police should cope with that. Played Bradford City and Bolton last season.
They have serious problems if they cannot ;)
-
A local news website is now saying fans fear the season will be starting behind closed doors. Apparently Harrogate Town is refusing to communicate with fans what the problems are. Just proves how lucky we are communication wise.
-
I rang our ticket office just now and they know nothing as we can’t get in touch with them or they won’t answer the phone
-
For those noting problems with getting through to our ticket office, it could well be that people are self isolating. It was certainly the case that we were down our own people for the Newcastle game, in addition to the temporary catering staff.
-
Harrogate have just posted a statement on their Twitter feed to say that they are working hard to sort out the issues raised by the safety board and are hoping to have fans in attendance for the rovers game on Sunday. They will confirm ASAP
-
E mail from the club
They are trying to get information from Harrogate but not getting much joy
-
NYCC now reporting that they attended Harrogate's friendly against Rotherham and have identified 17 unacceptable areas of risk. The most serious is that the control room isn't connected to a phone line or the PA system. To think some clubs call us tinpot.

Doesn't seem likely they will be rectified by Sunday?

On the face of it, it does seem pretty fundamental stuff.
-
They've only had a full season without fans to get it all sorted. They really couldn't have got promoted at a worse time. Losing the pitch as a massive source of income and no fans on top. West Riding FA will probably charge a fortune for using their facilities as a training ground as well.

I understand Harrogate will release a statement either today or tomorrow that the game will be behind closed doors as they have not got their safety certificate
That's it then!
-
Apologies for starting a new thread but I wanted people to see the latest information straight away.
-
Any Harrogate based Rovers fans on here ?
-
There's loads of Rovers fans in Knaresborough.
-
 :scarf:
Harrogate born and bred. Regularly go watch Town if Rovers are playing away so fortunately have been able to get a couple of tickets as my lad has 'previous purchase history'.
Any Harrogate based Rovers fans on here ?
-
I live in Alwoodley which is Leeds but I bought tickets earlier today.
I think anyone could buy them if they weren’t bothered about sitting with the home fans

Dickos bloody hell that is where I am from originally.
Lived 1st 18 years of my life there, Alwoodley Lane.
Where do you live?
-
Just bought my tickets on line.
I have previous purchase history at the club as usually go and see them 2/3/4 times a season.
Main stand seating. I will not wear my Rovers shirt as no away fans are supposed to be attending. They might not let me in. ;)
