Don’t know how close we actually were to getting Connor Wickham but he lasted 7 minutes last night before going off injured.

Early days but I think Sunderland have done us a big favour messing up the paperwork

In fairness I think it was the Aiden O’Brien ‘non transfer’ that scuppered us due to the wrong paperwork being signed. Perhaps come January he’s someone we might yet see join us.

Wickham has signed a short term deal at Forest Green Rovers. Still only 29.

Signed for Shrewsbury Town back in June. Two year deal.
