Just noticed Crewe game re arranged for Tuesday 2nd Nov.
Also I see the ground is called the Moonflake Stadium. Should that be the Cornflake stadium or maybe the Kelloggs Stadium. ;)
Moonflake who or what are they? It will always be Gresty Road to me. :that:
-
Mornflake i think?
But yeah. Gresty Road to me too.
Bit of a pisser this being on a tuesday night now. Means i won't be able to go.
-
It’s Mornflake a local cereal company
-
I had this down for an away trip (today) will have to see with rearranged game - I guess at least it will be on iFollow now
-
Mornflake Factory just 5 mins down the road from The Gresty Ground. My BiL company supplies them with sacks so we got to park free
-
Could have been worse. It could have been the snowflake stadium .
-
Probably I will watch it on ifollow, but I wonder if their fish shop across the road do deliveries just to enhance the atmosphere.
-
Ah yes. Forgot about ifollow. Tuesday night games are covered live aren't they? Just saturday games at 3pm that can't be shown if i think right?
Ifollow it is. Minus the fish and chips though sadly.

You'll be OK, CDH; there are 3 successive Tuesday night games for you to watch on iFollow, starting a week on Tuesday against Gillingham away.
Then it's Cambridge at home and Crewe away.

Yes. Cheers SS. I'll be at the Cambridge game but the other two i'll get on ifollow.
-
Last time I went Gresty Road we went over the road to the chippy which was closed. Went back to the ground asked a steward about why the fish shop was shut he said the owner had run off with a sixteen year old bird - so he at least got a battered sausage
-
Love going to Crewe. So easy to get to. Even on a Tuesday night.

From what I saw on Saturday at Harrogate we will not need to play a strong team to beat that lot.
-
Just had a look on ifollow. Only on audio this game for some reason. I thought midweek games were always on ifollow.
-
Think it only shows the next game for iFollow - the Cambridge rearranged game can be viewed so would imagine the Crewe game will be available after the Scunny PJT game
-
Yep, think it was the same last season, you could only buy so far in advance.

But we play Crewe a week BEFORE the PJT game.
-
Doh - My bad soz - after Cambridge then
-
Let's hope we are cereal killers then.
-
So, the Crewe game is audio only on ifollow. Not understanding that one.
Next, the Scunny FA Cup game is audio only but the Papa Johns Game is video pass at a tenner.
Also, Saturday games are not shown on ifollow live. Such as the one today at Charlton.
I'd pay a tenner to watch the Crewe game but now they will not get any of my money. I'd pay a tenner to watch the Scunny FA Cup game but not to watch the Papa Johns therefore they won't get any of my money. I'd pay a tenner to watch today at Charlton as it is a game i cannot get to. I'd rather attend a game than watch on ifollow if i can but they won't now get any of my money.
Confusing as someone somewhere is missing out on a lot of money by having such ridiculous scheduling rules.

Me too I used to love watching away games on there at work :)

FA Cup games aren’t available to watch on iFollow hence audio only.

Where does it say the Crewe game is audio only?
-
Today’s is audio only according to our web site info.
Really annoying. Why is it not on and the Crewe game if that is correct.
Does not make sense. Throwing an income source away.
-
Are people really asking this question? Stick every game on the TV crowds home and away drop significantly

Today is 3pm ko outside of lockdowns that has always been the case, international ifollow users will be able to watch it

The Crewe game is listed as audio only on the official website, ifollow link. No live video available.
As for the point made about crowds dropping if all games were shown on ifollow. I do see the point made and it is a valid one, however a lot of fans prefer to go to the actual games rather than watch on telly. This is what sets us apart from the Premier League where most fans aren't interested in going to the games and prefer watching on tv IMO.
Also, if only away games were shown for the exclusive viewing of away fans who can't make games, then Rovers fans today could watch the Charlton game if they were not able to make it. I'm sure most Rovers fans able to make Charlton away would do so and attend.
I can see this could be open to abuse as there is nothing to stop Charlton fans registering on the Donny ifollow under a different email address and watching the game but maybe have a system where season ticket holders of a club can only view away games that are played on a Saturday and they have to prove they are a season ticket holder of the away club for example.
Quite how this could be done i don't know but an idea.

-
The Crewe game was rearranged ages ago. Lazy t**ts not having updated by now IMO.

I am confident that iFollow will be getting the benefit of your tenner on Tuesday matey.

Well not now as i've made other plans. If the Crewe game was available to book a while back when it should have been then i'd have stayed in to watch. As it is now, i am led to believe by ifollow that it is audio only so i made other plans a while back.
Some people need advance notice.

Since ifollow has been running every single midweek game has been available to watch. Not trying to have a dig but if you’ve based your choice on a website that clearly hasn’t been updated rather than common sense then I’m not sure you’ve anyone to blame but yourself.

I've only been using ifollow from this season so am not quite sure how it works, hence the questions about it and it's inconsistency. For the away games i have watched midweek, i have been able to pay for them in advance as they have been up and available to purchase. The Crewe game hasn't and thus my reasons for querying what the issue is.
I have common sense. Not my fault the website and those who run it are useless.
