This lad is banging them in for Thorne Colliery this season.
Different level I know, but worthy of attention before someone snaps him up.

How old is he NR?
Could we have another Ravenhill and Fortune West together in a Rovers team in a few years time.
Great memories there.

The kids a bloody handful.
Played against him before a few times (7 a side).
He's about 6'3, 16 stone with a hammer of a shot. Rapid as well. Built like a brick shit house.
I think he's roughly 18/19.
Nice lad, too!

Good enough for League 1 Moncaster?

Does Richie and or our coaching staff know about him. Surely his dad must have put a word in at Rovers or maybe other clubs in the area. Leo also played for Rotherham before us. :crying:

At the moment - not just yet.
He's come on leaps & bounds the last few years. Think the best thing for him would to carry on playing (& scoring!) week in week out for Colliery & we keep tabs on him.
-
He is not good enough for the professional game. My son played with him for Bessacarr FC 1st team. He is extremely reliant on his left foot and any pro defender would stop him scoring. He is probably Conference North standard at best at the moment, however maybe higher if he gets the right coaching!

I'm not too sure. Played against him at the Keepmoat enough times so I'd like to think he'll have been spotted at some point!

Thorne Colliery are in the 11th tier.
Perspective needed.

They all start somewhere. I’d did say in My initial post different level.
Evan is only 18/19. Watch this space.

We could get him for a pittance.

Unless we get shafted.

He might bag a fewl coals. Don't know your opinion but that's mine.
-
He seams like a potential talent.
-
As long as people don't slag him off.
-
The coal ones are the best.

Take your pick.

Some of these non-league clubs are a conveyor belt of talent.
-
On the ‘Face’ Of it a trial seems best.
-
Seams like a prop-er prospect - a new Curtis "Main" maybe
Bet headings his speciality
-
Heard he's signing for the canaries.
-
Sounds like he's big enough to prop our defence up!!
-
Is he related to Leo Fortune West who used to play for the Rovers?

Just hope he doesn’t snuff his lines

Yes. Lives locally too. My dad sees Leo often around town.

Remember that young striker who played for Stockbridge Park Steels? He's not done too bad for himself.

Evans-Booth (I think that's right) is the more regular scorer. FW's tend to be screamers though, always had a hammer of a left foot.
-

His son.
-
Does Brian Stock have a son who can play on the wing? EFW could then Head Stocks cross in.

When you are propping up the table we need all the help we can get

Shay Booth Evans. He has also played for England Universities in goal!
