According to Ipswich' equivalent to Liam Hoden, Norwood is training with the U23s and has been made available for transfer in January.
Surely to christ we've picked up the phone?
-
What makes you think his attitude could be any better than that of players such as bogle and William? Norwood is clearly exiled for a reason? Maybe he’s a bad egg? Maybe he’s just to big of an earner?
If we were to enquire, I pray we did our research into the players mindset before any approach.
Good player in the past, not sure he’s the kind of person we need around the building though.
-
He’s a very good player with a very good attitude. Just not part of Ipswich Towns long term plans so not with the squad. He’s on a pretty high wage though.
-
His goal scoring ratio at Ipswich isn’t bad to be fair to him. Just think if Fej ever does get fit and there is any money to play with, a defensive midfielder will be priority.
-
In hindsight his wage demands will probably be a bit too much. He'd be on 6-7k a week at a guess for them & we could offer 3-4k?
Can't speak for his attitude as I don't know the fella nor the situation at Ipswich.
Probably end up at Wrexham.

I believe he’s likely to be on 10k+ at Ipswich

He will just be sitting out his contract then. He won’t see that wage again at his next club. Well very unlikely.

I bet he won’t drive to Doncaster

One typical poster on the Ipswich site...
I personally am disappointed to hear this and think it's important to differentiate between Norwood as a player and Norwood as a person...
As a player he has always offered something to the club and is still clearly capable of doing so, If he remains injury free...
As a person and as a professional footballer, at the best club he's ever been at, this is indeed a completely separate issue... his social media antics are misguided at best, unprofessional at worst, but hey, we all lapped it up when he first joined the club and went after the budgies on twitter.. it also proves that he is human and not a robot and in today's world, where mental health is rightly spoken about and highlighted, it's wrong to dig him out for that.. he is baited by complete strangers, who's first thought is to call him a c**t even though they don't know him.. the holy on here say don't react, he is only human!! I'm not condoning the nature of his reaction in some of these exchanges, or his drink driving conviction, he will rightly be subject to the law and legal system of the land and can have no objections to that.
Perhaps not what we need....... but would consider a loan to end of the season.
-
I think anyone who has a drink driving conviction can be safely labelled a c**t though to be fair.
-
Who casts the first stone.....?

Err me.

Err me.
I thought you were bricking it. ;)
-
It is self evident that anyone convicted of drink driving is a c**t.
-
Odds on he does the latest fashion thing, and sees his contract out.If he does and is on good money who can blame him.

There’s a good chance Ipswich pay him off if he finds a move in Jan. They’d only have to pay half of his wages for a loan move anyway. May as well pay half his remaining contract and cut ties.
-
Agree Gaz. He was bought by Lambert but clearly isn't fancied by Cook.
Could do a job for someone in this division but it won't be for the £9k he's on at the minute.
Could he do a job for us? If RW goes to a very tight 4-5-1 then maybe.

Is he on as much as that? I’d be surprised but it’s certainly not impossible. I’ve been speaking to a good friend of his today to get the latest. He knows his next move will be a fraction of his current wage but I never ask for figures. It’s certain to be in between £5k and 10k though.
-
Only way he can come here would be on loan where we pay a fraction of his wages. Defensive midfield player is the priority.
-
Almost unbelievably has signed a two year deal at Oldham Athletic in the National League.
-
Oldham, what a great transfer for them and football in general, hopefully he will score plenty of goals this season.

Something's definitely gone off , he only signed a new 12 month deal last month .
I'm only speculating but I reckon the new HC wanted him gone for whatever reason .
Saying that I can't believe he's gone to Oldham in the National League .
60% of league one would have taken him never mind league two .
-
Wrexham was after him to replace mullin for a few months , can’t believe he’s gone Oldham
-
There are no restrictions on wages in the National league he probably be getting paid more now. That’s why Paul Mullins went to Wrexham.
-
He had a year on his deal at Barnsley so Oldham paid a fee for him. Went from top end League One to National League.
-
Nowt for ua to worry about then.

Anyone would think I’ve backed Oldham for promotion

Oldham just signed Joe Garner as well.

Christ on a bike!! I read this today and look you can replace Fej with Miller and the same still applies today.

Not if he hasn’t got a club !
