Well well. Not hours ago in the House of Commons when asked about it, bojo stated it was “not sensible” to diplomatically boycott any sporting event. An announcement now that the uk govt will be boycotting it after all. Big big u turn.

It’s a shame the same cannot be said about the World Cup.

It's a start though.

You cannot give your blessing to a major sporting event where the hosts have just vanished a major sports star after she accused a senior politician of rape.

Unfortunately, you CAN still give your blessing to a major sporting event where the facilities have been built by modern slavery.
