Title: Before games are called off
Post by: phil old leake on December 16, 2021, 04:53:46 pm
Should the premier league and EFL check if the contaminated players are vaccinated and if the infected are should they insist that clubs play with the available players

Maybe this would try and put a bit of a responsibility on the clubs to get their players vaccinated

Players wouldn’t be saying no if they played for Cloughy

Here’s the thing though. A team could have just two or three key players missing through covid and then ooopsie, we have a few other players with physical injuries also so we can’t play.
I do wonder if there is some of this going on?
With a team who is struggling with injuries.
With a team who is struggling for quality and results.
A team on the verge of getting a new manager and perhaps some new players.
Cynical,  but possible.
