What’s happening with the score board? There appeared to be something in fastened in front of it obscuring it, although it didn’t appear to be working anyway.
How are the halftime drinkers and pie eaters supposed to know when 35 minutes have been played and it’s time to go and join the queue?, and how do those who depart religiously 10 minutes from time to miss the traffic know when to leave.
I cricked my neck about 10 times looking at the big screen to see what time had elapsed and only on 2 of those occasions did it actually show the time!
So in our own stadium we have a lovely big screen to keep the away fans informed, but we have bugger all for our own fans. After the first few minutes today I was beginning to wonder if I could remember how many goals they scored without the scoreboard to remind me!

Any chance of bringing Wild Rover back in our Stadium when the players come out!

been wondering for ages why we don’t have wild rover or another song to try and get the atmosphere going before kick off. A lot of ppl moan about the atmosphere and rightly so but this would help massively, it helps with most clubs in this country so why not?

Yeah exactly, how are we supposed to create traditions at the club if they keep changing stuff, I used to love hearing Wild Rover as the lads came out.
-
The scoreboard looks to have been moved slightly, I presume to fit in the new logo for the stadium name, maybe it’s not been wired up in time for yesterday.

A lot of people moan about the atmosphere then do absolutely nothing about it and expect others to generate it.

Perhaps turning the scoreboard off was an attempt at improving the atmosphere?

Let's hope we get our hoops back agter this disaster of a season.

On a separate note how bad is our speaker system. I know it’s never been good but I swear it’s getting worse. Can barely make out what the announcing is saying.

It seems at the moment as though it's a "they get what they're given, and f**k' em" attitude towards us supporters. Even a lot of the bloody seats have been removed from the Belle Vue Bar.
The whole matchday experience is underwhelming.

Brother in law came yesterday and we went the Belle Vue Bar for a couple before the game.
His first comment was the lack of seats and tables was surprising.

Covid restrictions?

Isn't there someone on here who has connections within the club about this type of thing?
Maybe these things should be put forward to the club, I want my bloody Wild Rover back!

you not got a watch or phone

Yes, but they show the time of day, not how many minutes have been played, Depending on the extra time played in the first half the kick-0ff for the second half is put back accordingly so it’s much simpler to look at the scoreboard. it’s been there every game since the stadium was built and I have got used to it.
It also shows the score and the rate we are going downhill we might not be able to keep a count of the goals going in against us in our heads!
