Would be a good move for him. He needs a fresh start.
-
I'm feeling a bit like I need a fresh start with a new club, too.
-
I agree that would be a good move for him, wish him a speedy recovery and the best of luck
-
Best of luck big Joe.
-
I know there's no loyalty in football these days but don't you think Wright and a few others owe this club big time ,another year at least
-
If Joe is gets fit and can play at a higher grade of football whether Championship, Scottish Premiership or even league one next season he should snap their hands off, Good luck Joe hat ever you do.
-
The club should of left him to fend for his self then he's not under contract, but that wouldn't be the right thing to do would it ?
-
Very similar scenario to to the scouse lad we had some years ago, McIntyre i think, he spent a very long stretch out injured, which ran his contract down to the point that he left for nothing after all the injury reconstruction and medical aid was complete.
If in the same position i would imagine most would do exactly the same, no sentiment in football theses days or ever.
Best of Luck Joe, you gave your all for our club and i thank you for your efforts.

You'd hope if Wright ever rocks back up here, he wouldn't get the same abuse McIntyre got.

Rather him sign for these or elsewhere, than us. We don’t know how he’ll be after his injury, we’ve a pathetic medical team/physio and he was ready for ditching us long before he got the injury.
He needs to move on, we need to move on. Do wish him all the best though.

Why pathetic medical team and physio
-
Good luck to him, hes a good player when fit but not a position we need to strengthen so be a waste of funds when we have Younger, John, Anderson, Olowu and William's contracted.

Do you seriously need to ask that question?
We'd be better with f*cking Harold Shipman in charge of the medical room.
-
Yes I do ,what's the answer then please

Did we offer him a new contract ? Also isn’t a rule from the football league that a player’s last club helps an injured player when he’s out of contract

I think it was a moral obligation rather than a legal one.

Umpteen players in the medical room for long periods of time; announcements frequently made that certain players are ready to return, then they're mysteriously injured again, even though they've not kicked a ball.
Physios and medical staff are as accountable as players and managers; some are good at what they do, and some aren't.
Any other answers I can help you with?

Nope, just very in the know on stuff like this with the club :)
If Jon Taylor plays league football again then he (and we) are very lucky for one.
