He hasn’t managed a league club for years

New manager impact against us if he takes it

I’ll be at the Ipswich game but hold out about the same level of optimism there as well.

The former would be an excellent result for us. The latter probably closer to what we will end up with.

The thread was really about whether if he takes the job there will be a new manager bounce and another hiding for the Rovers

In some ways that is a good thing but i think in these modern times, players get away with far too much on account of their 'sensitivities' shall we say.

Bad move IMO if Keane goes to Sunderland.
