3 new grounds for me to visit next season.
Crawley I missed last time. Was on TV Monday night game in 2012/13
Did not go in 2016/17 either.
Others will be Salford and Sutton Utd.
What about everyone else. How many possible new ones for you?
-
Nearly half the division for me tbh. Salford might go up yet. That would be a good thing. Because if not, You can be certain they will be challenging next time. Going to Salford by public transport is not as easy as you think btw. Go to Manchester, Then bus. Not in Salford itself.

Salford (if they stay down)
Crawley
Sutton
Looking at the potential promotion teams from National League I think I’ve ticked them all off
-
Salford & Sutton for me.

I was thinking about this too, but also in the context of people whose ambition is to visit every football ground in the country. When I have briefly contemplated it previously, I have thought of it as a rather monumental task. In fact in the last 15 years Rovers alone have probably played on over 90% of the current EFL and PL grounds. Being now a bit of a yo-yo club does provide you with lots of fresh new sights with the added interest of following your own team there.
From the top 3 divisions I think only Man U and Chelsea are grounds which the travelling Rovers fan will not have visited since the second world war in support of our team. In the last 15 years it is only those two plus Liverpool, Spurs and Everton which we have not played this century. (We have never played Chelsea away).

I havent been to Harrogate or Barrow either. So five for me.
I did loads in the conference. I used to like Leigh and Southport, and the old Forest Green ground. I enjoyed Hayes as well.
-
Barrow, Harrogate and Sutton needed for me.
Looking at the National League top 7, only Halifax and Solihull I've not been to.
Hoping for Stockport and Wrexham/Chesterfield/Halifax to be promoted for local(ish) games (live in Manchester if anyone wonders why I included Wrexham!)
-
Sutton,Salford and Harrogate for me.
-
I’ve done 160 grounds now watching Gods X1 & I enjoyed visiting the conference grounds on the whole. Dover, FGR, Leigh RMI etc.
-
Did Sutton in the conference days and seem to remember it was only a few steps up from Cantley Park at the time. I'm guessing they've upgraded it since then.

Didn’t do a lot of away games in the conference.
Went to Stevenage ( now in the league ) to see Rovers and step son play for them. Leigh RMI but watching my step son play for Stevenage there Neil Illman ( got a 2 goals ) Southport watching him play for Stevenage again ( got one goal )
Saw Rovers at Kettering, Nuneaton, Morecambe ( now league ) Barnet, Chester, Kidderminster, Yeovil, Northwich v Rovers watching Neil play for them ( scored 1 goal ) but I promise you I was supporting Rovers.
Barrow again that was watching Neil play for Northwich.
Think that’s my lot. Racking my brains here. It seems a long time ago. Some great memories.

Need Barrow,Salford and Harrogate, went to Sutton in the Conference, it was Baltic. I think we lost 2-0 and Ian Snodin had named himself in the side after being out and about in London with Alick Jeffery Jnr

The same 4 as me Branton!!

Interesting thread as it is something I keep count on, currently on 52/92....but Scunthorpe and Oldham going out the league that will drop to 50/92 annoyingly.
Although if Halifax, Grimsby, Notts or Chesterfield come up I will gain 1 back!
Iv slowed down on new grounds recently having 2 young lads.
Something me and my mates have discussed, when counting do you base it on the club or the actual ground?
For example im sure many people did West Ham and Brentford who have since moved to new grounds, so would you still count them in your 92 or not?
Also I only count them if its been with Rovers, and not to a neutral game.
-
Barrow
Harrogate
Sutton
Salford
Stockport
+ hopefully Halifax
-
I count the grounds I’ve seen Rovers play on, 132 but that does include teams like Brighton x3, Scunthorpe x2,Oxford x2, Workington,Osset,Wembley etc. Ive done Newport,Morecambe but both old grounds so they would be classed as new/different to me
-
Did Sutton in conference . Think we got beat 1-0 about the only time Sutton went over the half way line.

I follow @doingthe92 on Twitter and the “official count” seems to be grounds although I count clubs. I will also lose oldham and Scunthorpe although quite a few new grounds for me, maybe about 14

I’ve been to them all already but need to see Rovers at Salford to complete the Rovers set. Furious that Forest Green got promoted and miffed that Borehamwood will miss out on coming up. Seen Rovers at 217 different grounds currently out of a total of 673 visited. Will finish the season at Maidenhead v Notts County to complete the Conference.

That’s an unbelievable record RedRover45.
673 grounds. So that must include many abroad. Any way I salute you for that. Very well done.

673, that’s some going, there must be some very interesting grounds amongst that

Quite a few mate, ranging from Brora to Cape Town and all points in between.
My favourites are in the Dutch Eredivisie where pre Covid I managed to go to all except Feyernoord. I need three there now.
