One of my favourite actors. I'll never forget the look on his face when Joe Pesci said to him, "Do I amuse you, like some f*cking clown?"

Perhaps he didn't have a great deal of range
But as a character actor, he was very good at the one he specialised in.

That's a shock. Very underrated actor, always put in a great performance.
