Court fight looms over Sainsbury's cat ban https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61596623
What starts off as, for most of us, a quiet news day story, ie Sainsbury’s banned my support cat’, read to the end of the article.
American Airlines had over 750,000 requests to allow support animals on flights last year. Including miniature horses (note the plural) and a turkey. The matter was brought to National media attention when a man was refused boarding with his carer peacock!!!!
Imagine getting on a flight and having to sit next to a chuffing peacock whilst eating your in flight meal lol!!!
And for what it’s worth, despite being a cat man, I wouldn’t let my cats into Sainsbury’s. It’s too chuffing expensive!!

The worst thing with this is he will probably win and get a massive payout
It’s a sad sad world we live in when some people think that anything goes

I saw him on the News He is only happy when he is Stroking his Black Pussy! Hey ho that goes for most posters on this board

I was a bit put out when Aldi wouldn't let me in with my carer lion.

I’ve recently been to Malta, gobsmacked when there were dogs all over the dining room - the hotel had recently changed to allow dogs in the hotel. They were sat on tables (the little yappy type things) - I love dogs but they shouldn’t be allowed in a main dining area like that.
Complained to On the Beach and their response was ‘we didn’t say dogs aren’t allowed’
Problem was wife is allergic to them, grandson is scared of them so despite paying for meals we ended up eating elsewhere

Dogs are common in cafes and restaurants in Colombia too.

Is that on the menu Bob?
-
Nope. That's chicken. 90% of the entire world stock of chickens is in Colombia. If you don't like chicken, and egg, you will starve in Colombia.

Yes but what comes first Bob?

Flying home from Majorca a week or so ago, there were a number of little yappy dogs in the airport terminal.
Apparently on internal flights in Spain, you can take little yappy dogs on board with you.
What you do if it needs a piss or poo?
Not sure if you can take cats on board.
(I’m going to have to try google and see what you can and can’t take on board planes in Spain now. I’ll report back on my findings as I’m sure you are all as invested in this as me).

Acceptance in the cabin
Acceptable PETs in Cabin: dogs, cats, fish, turtles and birds (except birds of prey). Take them with you in the cabin if they don’t weigh more than 8 kg. (including their cage or pet pack).
Quite a relief that you can’t take your carer eagle on as hand luggage.
You can expect a court case involving a well travelled tortoise quite soon, I expect.
