I don’t remember presenters having this problem with James Hunt.
Maybe there’s summat about Jeremy that the brain automatically thinks ‘Kitson’ and it just comes out?

Reminds me of a Roger Mellie strip:
He was about to interview Jeremy Hunt and kept reminding himself - Hunt, not Kitson. Hunt, not Kitson etc.

When the interview starts, Mellie says ‘Welcome Jeremy…Hunt!’
He gives a huge sigh of relief and says

‘Now then Jeremy, you’ve been a right f**king w**ker, haven’t you?’

Commentators must have been relieved that the ex-footballer Kenny Lunt was so rarely on the...errr....box.

Of course there was also the legendary occasion when Brian Bradley had to deal with the introduction of Yeovil sub Kevin Amankwah at the KM.
