Title: Mike Lynch R. I. P.

Sad to report that my brother Mike passed away this morning. He took me to my first game at Belle Vue in 1964 and I quickly caught the bug and became the fanatic I remain to this day. We witnessed many highs and lows together from championship winning sides, holding Liverpool at Anfield to losing away at the likes of Leek Town and Dover, from the glorious day at Brentford to the decline where we are today, back in the "basement" league. In recent years he attended as many games as he could until finally the big "C" took it's toll. Farewell big fella.

Very sorry to hear your sad news.
Another Rover lost.

It was Tony Elder’s funeral yesterday. Around 200 turned up at both the Crematorium and at Askern Welfare after.
I need say no more really.

R.I.P Tony. I will miss you at the Eco Power Stadium next season and every season. Not going to be the same without you.
42 seasons stood or sat with him.

Very sad to hear. I know we have our arguments and disagreements on here but we need to remember we're all part of the same extended family!
