What a sad sad day. Spoke with him a few times at Rovers and we was always a true gent and a sports fan and Tyke

Loved how he demolished "Referee" Russell after the Pompey / Kitson debacle on Look North

York City will miss their "superfan"  RIP Harry

I was surprised that he was only 71.  He seems to have. Even around all my life and I’m getting on a bit

I heard his daughter, Emmy, worked for the government and stirred up a bit of controversy over one of her policies.

Great bloke. A real Yorkshireman with a passion for his county.

A massive sports fan and huge follower of Yorkshire CCC.
Will be massively missed by everyone who knew him.

R.I.P Harry.
