Text seems to suggest there was a goalmouth scramble from our corner in which Olowu had an effort blocked. It might be this that led to his knock.

It was. Play went on for a while with him on the ground, the sub was made straight away when the game stopped.
He walked off ok, didn't look too upset.

We were very passive before the goal, they pretty much had all the possession.
We've woken up since then & had one or two chances, Josh Andrews winning pretty much everything we put up to him, be good if someone could get on the end of one of his flicks.

Lincoln scored from their one meaningful attack. We've been much better since they scored! Miller and Rowe both sat near me in West both moving okay, just think theyve been rested for Sat.

We do need to take account that our better players aren't on the pitch i suppose. Sounds like they'll be a lack of width from the team sheet? Concerns me that GM wants to play that way.
Hopefully horses for courses because all the best teams play with good width!

I’m only listening tonight, but we sound like we have been in this game and created enough to score a couple. However, it also sounds like if Lincoln want too they can raise their standards.

I think it’s more the lack of any real decent performance from a Rovers team in 2 years. Yes we have 4 points this season but how lucky have we been? Dig deep yes but no quality and there is only so many games where we can rely on luck.

It was only a matter of time due to the fact that we have been extremely lucky in the first two games of the season. Without a big upturn in performance level this weekend we will get beat again.

As always you have to look for the point at which more reasonable fans feel it's for the best to change then the tide starts turning and it's no longer "doom mongering" and just good sense. GM won't have long till we reach this point given we're a L2 team now and want to get back quickly. And when you think of what he served up last year.
He's got 10 league games from me to turn us round performance wise. Not so bothered about the results initially

Yeah they'd be hell on here by certain posters. But anyone who knows anything would be fairly happy we can see a route to been a proper team. At the moment a win here or there playing like we did on Saturday just feels like a short term reprieve from results like tonight.

The team will look a lot different on Saturday. For starters Rowe & Miller will be back in, Hurst will likely start, Long and Anderson should replace Oluwu and Williams plus I would start Ravenhill over Biggins.
