"We know exactly where we went wrong".

Aye. They had all the finesse and potency of a plastic battering ram in the second half, whereas we hit them with a perfectly judged rapier, then contained them with a defence that had more casualties than the first day of the Somme.

That's where they went wrong. Thing is, are they good enough to put it right?

They dominated the first half hour, after that we got to grips with them, they got frustrated culminating in one of their players trying to cut Mitchell in half, should have got a red, but never even got a yellow

They are a good team, and if they had carried on in the same way all the game they may have had a chance, however that would have required us to carry on lumping the ball at every opportunity (wtf were we doing for 20 mins)
The management team worked them out, and from that point we began to take control and remained in control for most of the remainder.

Not one single word of recognition for Rovers and how we played. Sums them up really. They didn’t give us any respect and it was their downfall.

Yes .... a brief mention that we lost our ENTIRE chosen back 4  probably to 3 / 4 bad injuries or 3 and a tactical switch might have given their "analysis" a bit of balance

Never mind .... I will console myself that wherever they finish Rovers will be higher

They were the team on top for the first and last 30 minutes. They desperately needed half time.

I don't know, I give up with the majority of opposing managers these days. Very few give us any credit at all for beating their team, in fact the way they talk, it's as if they think they just have to turn up to get the points.
Why can't they just accept that we beat thier team, and give us a bit of credit for doing so, and stop bleating on about how good they were, and how unfortunate they were, if they were that good, how come they got ziltch, nada, nothing from the game?
Surely it wasn't down to Rovers scoring 2 goals, and his team scoring 1, was it? At least give Rovers SOME credit for that!!

No doubt they are a very good team, but a bunch of Kitsons. I wonder if Neil does kid’s parties as entertainment?

I suspect opposition managers focusing on 'how good' their team is and how unlucky they were has a lot to do with job preservation. That and messages for purely domestic consumption.

I suspect half of managers would not shake hands at end of game,if they failed to win,if it was not a requirement, especially the big time charlie clubs ones.

“Domestic consumption”, Bob? That club is a horrible, manufactured offering with a handful of mouthpieces in the stands. Top of the league and they could barely muster 3 figures in fan numbers to a game not that much of a trek on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Because they have famous footballing directors, they think it gives them a right to success, but I have no time for them. If he was playing to his domestic audience, he could probably have written to each of them with individual handwritten letters.

I must admit to being shocked by the sparsity of the Salford support. Beautiful August day, top of the league, away trip to one of the finest grounds in the division only 70 miles away and they bring barely any fans.

Thank heavens for the likes of Mansfield, Grimsby, Bradford and Stockport this season.

On away fans. Do clubs get any money from ticket sales from away fans or do the home clubs get all the money?

For example, those Salford fans who attended last weekend. Do Rovers get all the ticket money from all away fans or do Salford get a cut?

I stopped watching after he said they dominated the 2nd half lol

They did have 77% of possession in the second half. That’s fairly dominant in that sense.

passing it around with no end product is hardly dominating...

The away team get 5% commission on all tickets that they sell, otherwise the home team get the revenue.
