Title: Last 2 weeks?
Post by: adamtherover on August 21, 2022, 09:38:22 am
I think we all agree the Sutton game was dire, and we got out of jail, the Wimbledon game turned a corner and there was a lot of good stuff. Stockport were lucky not to concede 5, and yesterday, we were up against a quality side, that was obvious. Even considering we had 4 defensive changes , a makeshift side dug in, and for the last hour played some wonderful football. There's now goals from all over the side, and the south stand was bouncing. After 18 months of drudge, is the feel good factor back? A big thumbs up to GM and JC for the work over the summer.

All being well and nothing new arising, we should be able to rely on a pretty much fit squad other than Younger, by this time next month.

I think Cbcb has jinxed it. That’s why we got so many injuries yesterday!

Except that he wrote the post after Saturday's injuries.

Who knows really, but I don’t think any of those from Saturday looked like months out, more likely weeks at most.

I agree, CBCB, but if Knoyle is out, even for no more than a few weeks, I think a loan at right back would be justified.
