From the Billy Bremner teams, that could help the present team. Who would you have and why? What qualities did they possess that we miss?

  No argument with that  choice or reasons, he would instantly improve our present midfield to Championship level at least,

I think I’d have Alan Little; hard running, hard tackling and a breaker up of play. Huge engine and would frighten the bejesus out of opposition players

Can’t argue with Snod or Animal, but I also really liked Billy Russell at full back

Alan Warboys. Either centre forward or centre half. Could read the game, cool calm and collected. Always seemed to have more time than others due to his intelligence and a good amount of skill.

 I only saw his 2nd stint, so wouldn't mind Rankine and Brevet back , last year Jack Ashurst wouldn't have gone amiss

Alan Warboys. Total commitment and the ultimate professional. A good finisher but mainly a great provider of space and chances for others. Brilliant in defence at set pieces. He’d stick like a limpet to the target man and the target man would be steered to where AW wanted him to go. Masterful.
