I live in an old house surrounded by huge trees and after having our sky dish raised as high at it will go, we can't get a signal now. The analogue aerial signal is also non existent.
I have a crap credit rating and so i can't get Sky Glass which is Sky but through your broadband instead of a dish.
I now have BT box with BT Sports but despite it saying it comes with Freeview, i think that means with the analogue aerial and not through the box.
I notice these new TV's these days have freeview inbuilt. If i bought one would i automatically be able to get freeview or would i still need to access the channels through a sky dish or analogue aerial as either way it is not possible.
Currently i have no telly and generally i just watch GB news in the evening when there's no footy on through the PC and use speakers.
Nightmare. I'm not tech savvy.
Any suggestions would be hugely gratefully received.

Watching GB News you don’t deserve a telly!

Thanks for that invaluable input. Spoken from a BBC disciple in all probability and of a certain vintage i'd hazard a guess.

What’s your internet speed like Panda?

Dunno. Normal lol. Whatever that is. Tyke has offered me an idea and thanks very much for that Tyke and i'll have a look into it and consider it.
We do need a new telly so the option at the moment is to buy a new tv with the freeview stuff in it and use the BT box for our subscription channels through the internet. That is assuming we can plug in the TV and the freeview channels are already built in and we don't have to use our TV aerial wire. If we do we're screwed.

Why not lower a couple of the trees.
I did just that a few years back at my previous house when a tree grew big enough to interfere with the sky signal.

They are on the verge behind my fence next to the dual carriageway that backs onto my house so not technically my trees. Not sure if i could start chopping tbh without getting into shtuck with the authorities? I have lots of options now though so cheers all.
