Anderson hopefully rested rather than injured
Jones presumably not over tonsilitis
Am guessing Bottomley is on loan and only available mid-week so Jake Oram youth keeper on the bench
-
Penalty shout for King's Lynn (handball by Faulkner) not given
-
I’ve been out all day, anything happening?
-
Listening on ifollow - not a lot, the visitors edging it
We also had a penalty shout turned down, but have had no shots yet.
-
No shots in the first half against tier 6 opposition. Pretty worrying.
-
We are been well out classed apart from there end product
-
Possession 57/43% in Rovers’ favour.
-
Possession 57/43% in Rovers’ favour.
And not a single shot, let alone one on target. They could have had two
-
No jokes they look like a level above us not two below
-
Shite..
-
The only positive thing to say about that half is. We are not losing.
-
Boos at half time. Not surprised. This was always going to be difficult, but not a single shot? And they’ve had 3/4 good chances.
-
We’ve forgotten everything we’ve learned over the last two weeks.
They’re so much better than us it’s a joke.
Pressing harder, winning balls more, shots on target you name it.
Rovers are devoid of pace, creativity and confidence today.
That said I wouldn’t have booed them off like most of the folk here just did.
-
We could and should be three down. Absolutely appalling!
-
They've been in 5th gear they'll be tired soon, we'll still win this.
-
Kings Lynn will be disappointed that they haven’t scored
-

No shots in the first half against tier 6 opposition. Pretty worrying.
To put it in a bit of context, Cheltenham are losing 1-0 to Tier 7, Alvechurch, and Lincoln losing 1-0 to Tier 6 Chippenham.
-
Hopefully kings Lynn will have pushed too hard and will be shattered then we can take advantage.
It's not sounding good though. Fingers crossed for a better 2nd half
-
Did Williams handle it on the line? Looked like it from the stands.
Kings Lynn much better in possession than us.
-
What's worrying is we did nothing to counteract their midfield getting forward & creating for their strikers, their number 10 is doing absolutely whatever he wants to do, can't get near him, our midfield is nothing short of woeful. We have showed no desire or bottle to win this & should be at least 2 down.

That makes everything okay then.
-
Upset in the making, perhaps?
-
In the meantime, Grimsby are thrashing the League 1 leaders, Plymouth, 4-1; and we go there next week.
I've got my tickets for that but I'm starting to dread it.
-
No.38 looks a good player
-
Upset in the making, perhaps?
Nah

More context. Grimsby are 4-1 up against Plymouth. Can’t see anything positive coming in next weeks game.

No, just pointing out that things could be worse.

Our posts were 2 mins apart. And I wasn’t keeping check.
Either way, this is shit from rovers. And worrying. Again.
-
The surprise this afternoon will be a rovers win. Which will be against the run of play.
Lynn have had 8 shots 4 on tgt.
Rovers nil and nil.

I was just joking, mate. We must be on a similar wavelength.

It depends what stats you choose to go by. Rovers have consistently had more possession throughout the game.
-
Could be raining!
-
Cheltenham now 2-0 down to Alvechurch from the Southern League.
-
Rovers riding their luck in this one. Not for the first time.
-
Tell me about it, they're letting one of my accumulators down....

I’d agree if the possession equated to attacking chances and shots. It hasn’t. No where near. Rovers have offered little in the final third. Very poor.
-
Do first round games go to replay, or do we have to get a result today?
-
Rovers now 9/4 to win, a draw is 5/6
-
Says it all. After 63 mins. A neutral would think lynn are the higher league team. These stats are indefensible.
-
Or a lower team playing up to the occasion.?
-
Two shots on goal and then Hurst hits the bar
Better since Molyneux came on
-
Or a lower team playing up to the occasion.?
That was always going to happen. As I speak knoyle hits the bar.
-

A replay, I believe.

Need to bin Taylor off. He's gone at the game
-
3965. Crowd. 661 visitors.
-
Grimsby now 5-1.
-
Oxlaide chamberlain on for his debut. Long throw from him. Goal. Ffs
And they deserve it.
-
0-1
-
Game over
-
Game over now
-
Nothing short of pathetic so far, we really need the board to dig deep and get some
Decent players in January
-
Nearly got another too. Super sub.
-
Absolutely embarrassing. Not just the result but the manner of the result and performance. Players should be ashamed of themselves.
-
Grimsby now 5-1.
Wait till next week. I daren't even think about it.
-

My point exactly. Scoring goals for fun, against higher opposition. They are pulling big home crowds too. They have the support of their town.
-
Chippenham Town beat Lincoln 1-0…wow!
-
Meh. We move on.
-
Chippenham Town beat Lincoln 1-0…wow!
Makes me feel a little better. But not much.
-
The board/chairman really has to take a long hard look at themselves, so many shit performances over the last 2 years so many poor players signed, no pace no fight, such a shame from the club we were to the the one we are now
-
Very poor
But shocks happen all the time, need to bounce back next week and continue our recent improving league performances
-
Upset in the making, perhaps?
Nah
Yeh
-
I've seen some shit down the years but that's up there. Shocking display, gutless, clueless, no pace, poor movement, tactically inept, weak, absolutely no will to win that game whatsoever. This team is beyond poor. Totally & utterly embarrassing. Well done Kings Lynn.
-
That display was back to the dark days of MCS we deserved nothing from that display and got what we deserved.
