Even Nostradamus couldn't predict anything other than a defeat for the Selfservatives at the next GE.

Experience suggests that they certainly would not accept responsibility if we didn’t win it and if we did it would not do them any good in Scotland and Wales.

David Mellor seemed to be the only Tory MP that I have come across who took a genuine interest in football and then he only supported Chelsea.

I can see the blue ties saying “we sorted Brexit, we sorted COVID and now we’ve won the World Cup”  that’s what the general public see and I think that the tortes would benefit from it.

Will the woke footballers, that several Tory MP's refuse to watch because they still take the knee, help those same MP's keep their seats?

Nah.

Isn’t Starmer a gooner?

Yes he is, but the response was specifically focused on Tory MPs.

The FSA have a parliamentary group at Westminster which is very active and includes numerous MPs from both sides of the house.
