One of best accounts on Twitter.
-
Sorry but not got the foggiest what this is about?
-
Maybe one just for the kids.
-
Either way, the content is better than his actual content.
-
No way is he that bright or clever enough to do it himself
-
No chance at all it’s his.
-
Whoever does it, they need to out themselves. It’s genius.
-
As Gandhi always says " I love owt like that, me".
-
Mean that badge to you!
:saywhat:
-
It’s Sue Perb.
-
It has me in stitches , I consider richy as a friend
-
Anyone know what the lad's opinion is of it? Maybe he sees it as publicity for his work? Might have a hell of an affect on his mental health.

Good morning, I'm the one behind OOCC
Aaron (Chall) and I message frequently. If there's any content he doesn't want posting (at the end of the day, it's all public on YouTube), then it'll be taken down. The same applies if he ever wants the account closing.
It's clear to see the Aaron loves the account, as do many people on Twitter. Aaron even gave me advice on sharing the Challon d'Or content on other social media platforms.
The account has picked up a bit of traction in the last week or so, as I'm running the Challon d'Or. A World Cup style tournament of Chall's best clips. People on Twitter vote their favourite via polls. The Round of 16 will be starting today for those interested!

It feels affectionately done, I hope that it is. Chall has become a bit of a celeb around Rovers, my lad always nudges me if he spots him in the crowd, and this feels like a playful way of celebrating that content and 'celebrity'. I hope he would enjoy and appreciate the tribute - it's obviously a labour of love as some of the footage used must go back a while and has taken lots of effort to pull together in such an organised way.
-
Yh absolutely
-
What a great competition it's been. I've just voted in the third place playoff and am looking forward to the final.
-
Disgraceful that 'My Friend Richie' isn't in the final.
-
Ye the utter bullshit in that wins it for me.
Could have got his friend to present the trophy if it had won...
-
Challoner is superb and he appears to be a great lad who takes the account for what it is, good fun and good promotion.
-
A great character for sure and his content is really good!! Is it polished and proper? Nope. Some of the stuff is very cringeworthy (but he's one of our own) and just like our players we accept the quality may not always be there. I really enjoy his YouTube videos and have loved the content on twitter (and I'm no kid 45)
I also enjoy Dappers game videos and lots of the humour in the Facebook groups, add the popular standard fanzine and these things are what have been positive about the club as an exile.
Good luck and thanks to all the folks that take the time to contribute to the Rovers community.
-
Honestly don't know how anyone can think this kid is anything other than a complete tool but maybe I'm just old and boring. Each to their own.
-
The third place play off was the real final.

Please consider being more polite and respectful to a fellow Rovers fan. No need for comments like that in my opinion.
-
Do you love owt like that? Or does that badge mean something to you?
Gandhi vs Mean That Badge in the final of the Challon d'Or is now live!
Poll closes midday tomorrow:

In December a Twitter account appeared called 'Out of Context Chall' which compiled short clips of Chall - one of our fans who posts online videos - saying daft things out of the original context. This then evolved in to a world-cup format vote to identify the best out of context clip. It was a bit of good fun, and some of the clips were really funny! He was presented the 'Challon-D'or' trophy by an unimpressed Ro-Shaun Williams at the end of the voting!
-
Thought he interviewed very well

20 words isn't enough. Reg of the Rovers summed it up perfectly.
Chall nailed it on national news this morning! :clapping:

We don’t need him getting dreams of grandeur though as a talking head on the rollercoaster and fun park media circuit. Stick to the Rovers lad. There’s not too much other fun around the club.

The Challon d'Or is back, are you?
The 2023 draw was released this morning. The polls will start on Monday!

What happened? I caught something about someone keeping a trophy but it didn't make sense to me

All a bit confusing but ultimately I think Chall called time on it all. Lad who was doing it was a genius but ran course by sounds of it.

Just seen it all unfold on twitter. Looks quite pathetic and childish to me but that Liam (lower league look) who is a Bradford fan is a proper cock end.
For an account that talks about lower league clubs and should really show impartiality, Liam just goads fans to boost his own ego.
I tried to watch his interview with Billy Waters but had to switch off because of Liams cringy rambling.

Chall has blocked OOCC. Someone got in his ear. Probably that fart Liam. They always double checked with Chall (OOCC) whether they could post his content.
-
A real shame. A genuinely witty and creative account. I think lots of people will miss it.
-
It was a brilliant account. The club should get straight on the phone to the lad that runs it and ask him to run out social media accounts. Not that he’d want to I’d imagine.

I heard someone on the radio the other day talking about how if you say ,"So-and-so is a complete [insert noun of choice]" it can't help but sound like an insult from the script of a Guy Ritchie film.
Mind, the bloke who said it sounded like a complete sheet of A4.

Blocking him seems a tad ungrateful seeing as the account propelled his name.

Wet wipe is an all time great to be fair. No surprises at all to see it top the list.

Agreed. OOCC has revealed his identity to Chall and has agreed to meet with him in person. He’s now referring to him as Aaron rather than Chall so he’s been nothing but fair with him since it came to light.
I echo Gaz’s comments. Give the masked man a job!

Hello everyone, Out of Context Chall here.
Firstly, I want to express my sincere gratitude for all the kind words and support I've received here. Your encouragement means a great deal to me.
I acknowledge Nudga's point that my previous actions were regrettable and childish. I take responsibility for tweeting some less-than-admirable things directed at Lower League Look following the Challon d'Or conclusion.
Beyond the trophy itself, this is about principles. I invested significant time and effort into organising and creating the Challon d'Or tournament, taking immense pride in it. However, Lower League Look's failure to present the trophy to Aaron after weeks of preparation, coupled with attempts to disrupt my tournament (including provoking Rovers fans), did not sit well with me.
I want to clarify that I never resorted to abusing Lower League Look. Instead, I challenged their inability to fulfil their role as "sponsors" of the tournament. Despite being open to resolving matters and seeking an apology, I have faced threats from them, and they have contacted the club accusing me of bullying Aaron. The timing of these accusations, only surfacing after my challenges to Lower League Look, raises some questions.
Throughout my time running the account, I maintained regular contact with Aaron. My stance was consistent: if he wanted any content taken down or the account removed, I was willing to comply. Just last week, Aaron messaged me, requesting the tweet of a specific clip and sharing details of his "Chall angry moment" from his Newport vlog, indicating an interest in sharing those moments.
From my perspective, shared by others I've spoken to, Lower League Look seems to have taken my challenges personally and responded with unwarranted threats, accusing me of bullying. This situation genuinely upset me over the weekend, causing sleepless nights as I contemplated potential consequences. While I respect Aaron's decision to adopt a more professional approach with his content, influenced by his association with Lower League Look, it appears they've manufactured a scenario to try and eliminate my account, which they perceive as a threat to their credibility.
I have arranged a meeting with Aaron to discuss these concerns, with a primary focus on his well-being. My goal isn't to revive my account; I respect his decision to take a more professional approach. However, I will share my apprehensions about Lower League Look with him.
I'll provide an update on Twitter once I've had the opportunity to meet with Aaron in the near future.

I hope Aaron himself is aware of the sense of admiration and goodwill that there is towards this account. It’s important that he is. My perception of Aaron is that he’s a really likeable lad and his heart is absolutely in the right place. This account, in the right spirit, has done wonders for his profile and lifts the mood of many with its good natured, witty and creative content.
I honestly think Aaron is a talent in his field, he has a charisma and humility that’s refreshing and engaging, and he speaks well to the camera. I don’t know what his future ambitions are, but I can’t help but think they’re best served by working with this account and not by being led into action by others with questionable motives.
The elephant in the room would always be the extent to which the content could be perceived as laughing at rather than with him. It’s clear above that it’s tackled openly and properly in dialogue between the two, and as a ‘consumer’ of the media (for what it’s worth) I’ve never felt like it’s crossed that line. It’s been a boost to his profile, and a huge boost to everyone’s spirit in a quite depressing time from a footballing perspective.
I really hope the differences are resolved and this account continues. We’d all be poorer without it.

The way Aaron accepts his quirks is what makes him likeable. Embracing the parody account like he did just adds to that.

I for one, have un-followed the Lower League Look
-
OOCC has outed himself!
What a time to be alive.

Absolute limbs!

Now Adam is doing OOC Rovers
This is an account I am really looking forward to seeing the content and bloody hell we could all do with a laugh;

My remark was really more towards Lower League Look.
I'm not sure who else runs that account but that Liam dude seems to take great pride in goading fans of other clubs, namely us and Swindon.
I wanted to see an impartial view of league 2 news but he's got a huge chip on his shoulder and will be the downfall of that account.
One of the best ones to follo6is @HCfootball01.
Very knowledgeable and humble enough to admit when he gets things wrong. I'd advise Chall to distance himself from them and pave his own way.
I wish you and Chall the very best of luck.

Thank you, Nudga, and everyone else for your kind words.
Liam Chew and Grant-Scott Johnson, the key figures behind Lower League Look, working in collaboration with Ryan Whelan's Look Sports Media, possess immense potential for highlighting League Two, an often overlooked tier in comparison to the Premier League or Championship. Unfortunately, their focus tends to revolve around provoking fellow fans rather than harnessing this potential. They seem to derive a sense of power from possessing inside knowledge on transfers or club news, adopting a "I know what's happening and you don't" mentality. Their inclination to avoid conceding an argument is reminiscent of the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail - they persist in fighting a lost battle.
As mentioned earlier, they contacted the club, implying that I was bullying Aaron, a claim I find unwarranted and something that could have easily been addressed by informing me of Aaron's concerns. I met with Aaron before the Stockport County game to discuss the account and moving forward. He mentioned that he didn't have an issue with me but it was time to move on. I respect his decision and appreciate the opportunity to discuss things in person. I apologised for any content that may have upset him, and he appeared to dismiss any apology, expressing that he wasn't offended. He did not indicate any issue with me personally but suggested it was more about the potential misuse of the content by others.
The club has always been aware that I was the one behind Out of Context Chall, and I knew that if there were any concerns, they would contact me. To proactively address any potential issues, I reached out to the club last week to gain insights from their perspective. While I won't delve into details, their response essentially aligned with my initial thoughts on the entire situation involving Aaron and Lower League Look.
Reflecting on the ordeal, I believe the abrupt closure of the account was the right decision. I wish Aaron the best with his future content endeavours, and I'm excited to continue enjoying my side-project of creating entertaining Rovers-related content with my new account @NoContextRovers - especially needed during the club's decline.
All the best,
Adam / Woodhead Passer / Out of Context Chall / Out of Context Rovers

Ryan Whelan and Look Sports Media got absolutely rinsed today over their entirely false ‘Graham Alexander to leave’ story. Muppets.

I can do that on my scores app in 5 minutes thanks.
