Title: In a crowded field...
Post by: BillyStubbsTears on December 23, 2022, 11:57:24 pm
...for "Most Disgusting Photo-Op of the Year" we have a late entry.

https://mobile.twitter.com/ClaraRo55/status/1606295887420035075

A Tory PM inviting the Press to watch him helping out at a homeless shelter.

It's like a violent dad getting praise for bandaging his kid's head.

And a Happy Christmas to you BST , I hope Santa brings you some new records because you’ve worn some deep grooves with the ones you’ve got

Draytonian. That is uncalled for. When the press, broadcast and paper, don't hold politicians to account, we should all be grateful for snippets that others mske available to us.

Thank you Billy. I have passed it on to a Tory concillor mate of mine.  He is wavering these days.

AS LONG AS IT SUPPORTS BILLY'S AGENDA.

Sunak must have believed tory MP lee anderson when he claimed poor people cannot budget and cannot cook.

I tend to think that BST will be under 60 years of age and if he is good luck to him, but in the last 43 years we’ve only had 13 years of Labour leadership and the vast majority of that didn’t turn out well because Tony Blair sold the country down the river. The days of Harold Wilson are long gone

''Surescreen Diagnostics landed a £500m contract after Liam Fox MP referred the firm to Matt Hancock – Surescreen subsequently donated £20,000 to Liam Fox''

''Only Conservative Party Peers, MPs and donors appear to be named as referrers – no politician from any other political party succeeded in referring suppliers onto the Covid testing VIP lane''

here's hoping this will be the last tory gov't for a while, although there's still time for another PM.

Sunak is scum. Anyone not on board with Universal Basic Income is not much better whether they are in the sicko media game or not. So that's most of the Labour Party as well as every twisted Conservative.

As would a father tending to his kid's split skull.

That's not really the point is it?

I, of course, was referring to Dean the homeless bloke.  :)

Christ that video!

I thought the one of Sunak not knowing how to use a contactless card was cringe worthy enough but f**k me!

What would YOU say to a man queueing up after sleeping rough and waiting for breakfast at a homeless canteen?

Sunak's first thought is the ask him "Do you work in business?"

Just...what f**king planet?

730 days till we'll be rid of the useless gets for decades. Chalk them off.

You don't think he could be helping the people using that - and every other place like it - using his time in some other way than with a spoon in front of the cameras? If he did this little bit without the cameras being there I'd respect him for it.

So everyone who hates the Tories hate Sunak because he’s got money
I take it people would be happy if he wasn’t self promoting just like Starmer and A Raynor trying to act all hip dancing like some10 yr old
Starmer never takes the opportunity to get a good photo

Does that also apply to Starmer who is also a millionaire albeit not as rich as Sunak.

To be fair I can't remember Maggie Thatcher dishing out breakfast's to the homeless.Sunak could do a lot more to get people off the street's.Think the last Labour Gov did a lot to get people off the street's but of course that was year's ago.

To be fair, all politicians are guilty of favouring a photo op. It just does seem that the Tories are auditioning for the lead part in the new live action Mr Benn reboot.
