No, I think he is frustrated and vexed a little bit. I haven’t spoken to him, so I can’t give you a full answer, but watching the game he probably felt with justification a few decisions went against him a little bit unfairly, so just frustrated with that and with the result I am sure.

May’s goal was well taken and well set up with two quick passes, wasn’t it?

Yes, good goal, good finish. Two in two for Alfie now and he struck a really rich vein of form this time last year, so that would be welcome.

He does tend to go on scoring runs doesn’t he?

He is quite streaky, yes. He is infectious and bubbly so if we can get him playing on people’s shoulders and being a pest and getting back up to full speed, hopefully it’ll rub off on everybody.   "

Eeh, if only we could tempt him to drop down to our level!

Then I would consider promotion a reasonable possibility.

A Cheltenham fan told me he had an option to go the US this window. Would be a great move for him.
